Arthur is five years old. He lives with his mother Lena in a small apartment. Lena is 21 years old ( Lena was beaten and ra*ped by Arthur's father who's now dead) and works as a hospital nurse. Arthur loves his teddy bear and cries when Lena takes it away from him and sends him to school. Lena has a hard time bonding with Arthur. She sees him as a person she needs to take care of. She spanked him, hit him and told Arthur what a bad child he was. Arthur often feels embarrassed and ashamed of himself. He fears that he isn't good enough for others because he can't please his mother. Sometimes Lena hugs Arthur and tells him I love you before he goes to sleep. Lena makes sure Arthur has a healthy diet and she cooks nothing but heathy meals and he only drinks water when he's at home. Arthur never gets to choose what he eats, it's either her way or no way in the house. Arthur loves his school. He has good friends, he takes swimming lessons, and loves to climb. his mother is dating a man named John. John always makes Arthur laugh, giggle and relax him when he's stressed. John starts picking up Arthur from school and buying him things. One afternoon Arthur saw Lena vomiting in the hallway, and gaining weight. John starts to kiss Lena on her lips in front of Arthur, and starts talking to Arthur about being a big brother, Arthur also notices John sleeping in the same bed as his mother.

While Arthur was shopping at Walmart with Lena, she wets her pants and nearly fainted. That night Arthur slept in the same bed as Lena and John.

It is a very painful feeling to feel rejected by someone you love.
In my case, there is this guy I met several months ago. Everything was ok, we saw each other several times and used to talk daily for months. Lately he started being distant, calls once in a while and hardly texts anything if I do not initiate conversations.
A classic case...

I think its time for me to accept it, let go and move on because this situation starts to hurt very bad.
But how?
I think about him all the time even when I go out, see people, have activities go to work...

He is always on my mind. When I see something funny and laugh i think of him and wanna cry inside, i can't see other boys because i can't stop thinking of him and think everyone else is shit.

He is trying to be nice from time to time because he knows I have feelings and feels a bit bad for me (i feel that)

I can feel he is moving away from me a little more everyday and thats killing me. Every little thing in my life makes me think of him: my house, my pet, my clothes, my phone, songs, movies, places, stores, cinema, people I know... he is everywhere.

Do I have to ask him not to talk anymore?

I dont wanna tell him about my feelings and be more pathetic. I know I have to move on, but how?

The days we dont talk to each others are so painful that I think sometimes that its better to accept this situation and at least he talks to me from time to time but it hurts so bad too because i know he is not interested any more.

I spend my days waiting for a text...

I am afraid that if i tell him not to talk to me anymore I will be so sad and regret it imagining that it could have worked out if i was more patient... hope is a bitch too...
