So I had put up a post about tinder saying this guy wouldn’t give me his phone number because he doesn’t just give it out. We where already texting 5 days and no sign of a date so I got fed up definitely wasn’t gonna do the whole pen pal thing for weeks.

Him not giving me he’s number had felt crappy cause I was embarrassed for asking but got me thinking did he have a girlfriend.

Anyway I’m just so over online dating so I deleted my tinder and removed him from my Instagram too. He obviously noticed this and messages me on Instagram. I have to accept the message because we aren’t friends on there but he said it’s a little harsh and what’s a reason.

So got talking to this guy on a dating app we where really having a good conversation through texting and I prefer to text through WhatsApp, so asked was he on it he replied he is but he would prefer if maybe we text through Instagram till we get to know each other a bit better. So I just said it’s fine we can text through tinder that the platform is the same as insta that I only suggested WhatsApp cause it’s my preferred app. He said he doesn’t like giving out his number.

To me it’s just not a big deal and tbh I feel really crap and rejected wish I hadn’t suggested it but it’s always the norm on tinder. I’ve obviously look like I can’t be trusted if he won’t give me his phone number so I don’t see the point in him wanting to text me. He said he only went on one tinder date but the girl turned out to be a psycho. It just doesn’t make sense will hand me his Instagram but not his phone number. Why do people have such a issue with a phone number the worst thing that could happen is that I ring you. We where having such a good flow of conversation aswell that I feel like it’s ruined cause I’m embarrassed and he has annoyed me a little tbh. Could he have a girlfriend and doesn’t want me getting his phone number cause it’s probably connected to accounts? Then other friends where like I never give my number out on dating sites.

And the other thing is we worked in the same building about 5 or 6 years ago, I didn’t recognize him at first on tinder it was him that kept bringing up that he knows he from somewhere when we finally realized it, he was like I used to have a crush on you but you never talked to me and tbh I really liked him aswell but I was with somebody at the time. Granted we don’t know a thing about each other and it’s onky been a few days chatting but he has seen me before so kinda thought it would be ok to ask for the number

So my ex had been shitty to me in the past yeah we had good times. But argued every other day. I still care But she said some harsh shit to me and was being racist too but I don’t think she Actuslly is. I've gave her many chances !! I forgave her and still was being her friend afterwards. But I wanted to move on and she kept pushing her feelings down my throat when I was trying to get space. so I blocked her on everything. She kept messaging me off of different numbers begging for chances and constantly sending paragraphs and even reached out to my roommates girlfriend and my roommates girlfriend told her shit that I did because she doesn’t like me. and I guess my ex believed it and starting talking shit. So I kept blocking her. Now she contacted my roommate too ! She kept messaging me off of different numbers and calling non stop!!! Literally acting crazy I told her I’d get a restraining order but I know she’d never do anything but still !! So I told her I’d unblock her Snapchat and if she really wanted to be friends I’d be her friend even though I don’t wanna talk. Am I giving her power? What should I do? She stopped texting as much but still... Would she think I still care that I did that?
