First, No one was rude or inappropriate in private or in public. People were very kind and supportive.

Second, I think I may have inadvertently implied by hastily getting rid of the earlier post bc I was UNCOMFORTABLE , that there is somehow something wrong if someone happens to be COMFORTABLE, wearing this kind of dress. I in NO WAY meant to give that impression. I have my own hauntings to work through but it is entirely personal.

... I was not brought up to appreciate my body- entirely polite way of putting it. The environment was intensely hostile. I don’t believe that was the intention, and until I moved out a few years ago, it was “normal”. People can care and still harm. To an extent, it was useful, bc I wasn’t obsessing and could focus on strengthening other aspects. However, after a point I just quietly hatred myself and detached. I am learning to reconnect.

.. Gag has been really helpful in that regard. Not some journey to feel “hot”- It’s nice to not feel like a monster of course.. This is about not feeling shame, when objectively there’s nothing unethical happening. Not about cleavage or no cleavage, just being a relatively normal person. Too lengthy to get into here. I don’t want to stray off topic. Maybe a My Take Sometime.

Point is, I see NOTHING wrong in appreciating the female or male firm and dressing as if you are not ashamed of your body.

Thirdly , I simply can’t be sure why I am uncomfortable. I don’t think the dress is obscene.. I think It more the internal judgement stemming from the past, that I don’t want to be a slave to. I am developing an appreciation of the female form that I previously lacked. I know I have spoken negatively and I think it’s inappropriate. It sheds a bad message.

—As for the 👗.. I think If I was uneasy I ought not have posted.. Posting THEN pulling bc it’s scandalous 🤭🤭 was just dumb and immature.

sometimes people want to pull out a phone and record the moment. Many times people like to record employees who did the job wrong or did something they disliked, and other times people just are recording their surroundings to capture the moment. I worked at a restaurant once where I had a customer record me grating 3 blocks of cheese on their plate. It was ridiculous that he was getting so much cheese, and I felt irritated by the time I had to go to the kitchen to grab another block. The worst part of it was that the customer thought it was funny and recorded the entire thing, pointing the camera at my face multiple times without my permission. I thought it was rude and it would have been better if the guy simply asked if it was okay with me to record me. I’m a person too and don’t like being photographed or recorded without my consent. But I wonder if many people see recording people at their job as rude?
