So me and my best friend we work near each other he works at Starbucks and i work at CineLux and we were really really close friends and one day like we decided to be more than friends I guess and after that like a couple weeks or months and I went to Starbucks one day and me and my friend were hanging out and he came to me smiling and laughing but he didn't tell me you had a girlfriend and I had to find out by one of his co-workers and kind of hurt me feels like why wouldn't you tell your best-friend you had a girlfriend and the next day I went to Starbucks and have my headphones in Alan said hi and I was like okay and he just walked away and I was like what's going on and to his coworkers and I texted him hey I'm sorry that I didn't say hi to u and he was like forget it I don't care anymore i don't even want to be ur friend and I wanted to know why but I guess not he stopped talking to me and blocked me on Instagram and Snapchat and it hurt me so much he did that he keeper lying to everyone that I didn't want to be friends with him but I still care for him but he won't talk to me because of his girlfriend and I also just found out that he moved different stores because he couldn't handle the drama and I want to know why he hates me so much

I’m wondering how many people have gone through a similar situation where you had to for your own self respect reject a guy or a girl that you really liked.

How did you feel afterwards? How did you heal from it?

I recently started talking with a guy that I had a crush on. His the one who approached me in the first place. He also showed interest only to slowly start pulling away. He started showing signs of confusion as to his desire to continue this friendship/ new relationship maybe love thingy with me. I felt my emotions being hyped up unfairly by him. He new I had an interest in him. I had a hint that he was approached by other girls too as a suitor. He confessed he is stuck in making a decision and doesn’t want to upset anyone. When he asked of me to stay in contact. I felt it was totally unfair of him to ask this of me while his going to take his precious time deciding what he wants. I felt like a doormat that he can come and say Hi whenever he feels like it. One thing I did was to never pursue him when he took his distance. I stayed indifferent and acted like I don’t care and don’t live for him. He promised to see me one day but never planned anything within those two weeks. I felt like I had to put my foot down to avoid more hurt. So I told him that it was best if we stopped being friends and moving on. He never replied back to my message. I’m assuming he didn’t care and I actually just made it easy for him.
