There was this girl I was intimate with. She was 16 at the time and I was 20. Just two young people who engaged in consensual intimacy.

In June 2016, we lost our virginities to each other. She told me after that weekend she did not want a relationship with me. I was crushed. We talked for 2 more weeks or so, and I angered her and she never wanted to talk to me again.

8 months later, I drive 7 hours to her home state to bring her a cookie cake in a pizza box and ask her to prom. I was disguised as a pizza delivery driver, and I was going to open the box to reveal the prom cake and reveal who I was. Instead, her dad answered. He was calm and told me as long as I left and left her alone, he would not call the cops on me.

I went back to my hotel. Shortly after, there was a bang on the door. I opened and the police drew guns on me. They shouted profanities at me even though I was calm and cooperative.

They put me in these handcuffs the tightest they could be and one of the cops gave me a death stare the whole time.

When I was being transferred to the county jail, they manhandled me as they were putting me in ankle cuffs. I was being cooperative.
