Angel hit her in public, called her stupid, bitch, and said she did it on purpose. Angel took Zahra home and beat her with a belt while Zion watched. Finally, whenever family came over Angel would tell them about Zahara wetting herself and doing it for attention in public or she'd say that Zahara is such a child and needs to wear diapers whenever they go out. Zahra, despite being 7, washes the dishes, sweeps the floor, studies really hard at school because she doesn't want to anger her mother. Zion isn't expected to do anything.
