The both of us are huge introverts. We're also both shy (not the same thing as introverted). For about the past month we've been staring at each other a lot, but he has never put any effort into starting a conversation with me. I've seen him talk to other people before (both male and female, but mostly male), and he seems fine and comfortable. When he is around me, he doesn't seem as comfortable. He's shy and awkward. It's almost as if he's intimidated by me, but I doubt it. (I am a year older than him, but that doesn't really matter). He always looks at me with this sad and strange look. I usually see him alone. He has friends, but not many. Sort of like me. But when he's with his friends, you can tell that they're not that close. He's kind of a loner.

We've sort of talked before, but not really. I've just approached him and we introduced ourselves, but that was about a month ago. He always looks at me, and at first I thought maybe I was just being ridiculous and I only thought that he was staring at me because it's what I want to think, but my friend started watching him when I wasn't looking at him, and she said that she sees him staring at me "hard" and in a "super obvious" way. It was pretty comforting and assuring to hear that it's not only me, and that I'm not just imagining this. I've already approached him a couple of times, in small ways. I'm just afraid that he'll think I'm weird if I keep going after him. If he didn't look at me so much then I wouldn't at all think that he likes me. I've also been focusing on his body language because I've heard that with guys, it's important to pay attention to body language, rather than facial expressions, and I've noticed that he mirrors my body language a lot (I'll do particular things on purpose, and I'll see him subconsciously copy me), and he also often has his body facing me, which are supposed to be positive things. But maybe I'm just overthinking this.

But he's not doing anything, and it doesn't look as if he's planning on approaching me. I have noticed that if I stop staring at him, he stares even more at me. It's as if the less interested I look in him, the more interested he is in me. This is what's been happening more recently.

So, anyway, my real question: should I continue going after him, wait for him to talk to me, or just give up on him? I'm super shy, so all of this has really been a huge step out of my comfort zone.

There's this woman at my College and she's 14/15 years older than me. Several times she's annoyed me.
Firstly- she asked me how my mother died I replied with 'I'm not sure'. Most people would get the hint that I don't want to talk about it. When I had a drink she asked me again, I told her. My sober self didn't want to tell her and she should have left it. Talking about my mums death puts me in a really bad mood.
Secondly- she has a 'Nick name' and when I've had a drink sometimes I cannot pronounce the word correctly. I called her by her first name and she went crazy at me, she was drunk. At one point I thought she was going to attack me. Her first name is on her birth certificate therefore I shall call her by that.
Thirdly- we was talking once and I was like 'I feel like you've got a problem with me, please just be honest with me' and she replied with 'I don't have a problem with you I just sometimes don't like your language'. Yes I sometimes swear but she uses it more than me, she's so hypocritical.
Fourthly- once she attempted to have a go at me because I was talking about people I'm dating or people who I like etc. Later that day she kind of apologised and said its because she's not getting any. then she tried asking do I sleep with everyone I like, it offended me
There is a lot more but I don't want to bore you. I'm not scared of her but I feel intimidated by her most of the time. I'm 22 (21 at the time), of course I'm going to talk about dating people and I'm going to swear etc.
I found out during exams that she was going to the toilet to look at her notes, it's classified as cheating. I was thinking of lagging on her and then maybe she'll get into trouble and i won't see her again.
I'm not usually like this but Im at college to get my degree and to enjoy the college life; not for someone to be intimidating.
do you think I should lag on her?
