Guy A meets girl B. They like each other a lot, but she moves. They have a ldr that lasts almost 3 years, than she breaks up with him.

About 1 year prior to the end of the relationship, guy A meets girl C, who is a good friend of some of his best friends. In that period she starts hanging out with their group of friends a lot and she is interested in guy A who doesn’t reciprocate. Girl C hangs out with A more and more.

After his breakup with B, A starts drinking and partying a lot. About a week after the breakup, he and C end up in bed together drunk. At the beginning it’s a bit awkward, but it happens again and they are always hanging out as friends, so in a short time they become a relationship. A doesn’t publicize it at all, especially not on his social media. He still is drinking and partying a lot, his best friend describes him as a train wreck.
