Search Results: what bothers you about opposite sex

So. I have a dating challenge for you single folks this week, boys and girls. I can tell you're all ready.


Boys and girls. This week you need to do TWO things. You need to go to FIVE places you didn't need to go to. Maybe that's a starbucks or a pet store or a book store or a church group. Five places you could have skipped.

While you're doing that this week, you have to do a second thing as well. You need to say "Hi" or "How's it going?" or "Hey there" to TEN cute or attractive members of the opposite sex. You don't need to actually get their numbers this week. You just need to make eye contact, smile a little, and greet ten cute people of the opposite sex this week, and preferably as soon as you're walking by them or sitting down next to them at starbucks or as soon as you step next to them at church. Conversation can be short. You just have to say hi and smile.

I know. You might not want to bother people. You might feel weird.

But the reality is most people are pretty open to being talked to, and you're probably going to make that person's day a little cheerier. Walking up and kissing them is optional, but if you can, go for it. Bonus points.


Remember that pressure hits us all, and most people are not going to knock you for laughing and being happy. What's the point of this lesson? Too many damn people are going through life miserable and missing out. Missing out on what could easily be tomorrow--because life is not meant to be lived shy and afraid. Why do this exercise? It helps you learn to talk to cuties, and talk to them right away instead of then awkwardly trying to say hi 15 minutes after they sat down next to you.

So go forth single people. Report back on your progress throughout the week, and encourage your fellow GAG'ers. Remember--there's one big difference between the people who mattered in your life, and those strangers you avoid looking at in the store.

Someone said hi.

The title says it all. Rather simple question, really. What I mean by it is not like in an actual relationship, but just as a general thing when meeting new people and making new friends.

To me, personally, it never mattered, for as long as I can remember, when I was like 3 in pre-school.

Somewhere in early elementary school there was some sort of separation in between boys and girls, about the "cooties" and stuff, but I never took part in it, or even thought about it. I was like, "What the fuck? This is just stupid. We are all human, that's all that matters." Excluding the word "fuck" as I was in elementary school, but you get what I mean, lol.

Throughout my life in general, I've also noticed that straight people often have trouble talking to the opposite sex/gender... which I personally never related to, unless it was a very specific girl I had a crush on. But developing a crush on someone in the first place was almost impossible to me, so most of the time I remained almost oblivious to sex/gender unless it was a certain situation that put emphasis on that.

So therefore, overall, I think of both males and females the same way, I treat them both the same way, and have about an equal amount of female and male friends.

I'm really quiet and mild tempered all the time, so though I treat males and females the same, it bothers no one. Some guys are overly rowdy to both sexes/genders, which may bother some girls... but I'm no rowdy guy.
