The details are as follows. I have a online store to sell a wide veriety of general merchaindise that I've been trying to get it up and running. Among items are clothing and I have some clothing items that are more oriented toward younger females teens in particular and those clothes have to be displayed properly and last July feeling a mannequin wouldn't do justice to the clothing I found myself in need of a model. I then googled agencies in my area and found some sites with models. After searching through quiet a few I found the model I felt could best represent the clothing on one site, and so I took down the information and I called the number. There was a lady that answered the phone and as soon as she heard my voice she immediately begin to sound rude. She asked me what I wanted and I told her I spotted a model on her site and that I needed a model and she was the best fit. She told me to further explain and I tired to explain to her that I have no particular line of clothing I would be carrying such as brand names. I also told her that I liked this model because she had a versitle look about her age, she could look anywhere from 14 up to 21 and she was perfect for what I needed. She seemed rude and told me she had someone else on the line and she would call me back but that call never came. Then came a point back in October where I decided to try and contact the girl myself for a couple of reasons 1, I still needed a model and 2, I felt that girl needed to know what the lady did and that the lady wasn't treating potentail employers right and therefor wasn't representing her best interest. I found the girl and sent her a couple of messages on social explaing that I needed a model but then no response from her either. After the second message the model blocked me. I voiced my dissatisfaction back in July about the agency on the agency's facebook page about the incident. I went there on FB to show someone else my comment to discover - Updating to part 2.

It's like everyday two or three random guys or girls are posted up by some anon with the title "who's hotter?" or something like that and a poll. I don't get it. They aren't celebs or models they're just random people between the ages of like 15 and 30. There can't be that many people that want to compare themselves to just one or two other people. I thought maybe it was some group of guys or girls comparing each other or thier crushes but it's been like 3 or 4 of these a day for months now. Is there like an underground beauty contest going on or something? Is it a science experiment? Is it focus group testing for modeling agencies? What's happening?
