I am asking as I see so many and completely opposing opinions from men on what they think.
I always hear it, no makeup is better, makeup is fake, only ugly women need makeup, etc.
In my opinion I think the majority of men prefer natural looking makeup, but a majority of those men don't like the idea of makeup, so they claim they prefer a bare face when they don't.

As for my experience, I very rarely wear any makeup. I even have nice healthy skin to show luckily, but when I started experimenting with makeup last year I found I suddenly got a lot of attention from men, both men I knew and strangers. A very noticable increase, one cashier, who i had chatted with before hand never paid attention to me, but i came in wearing makeup one day and he for the first time asked me for my I. D. saying "you just look so young and beautiful"
Also I doubt its a confidence thing as I do not feel like myself while wearing it.

In these befores and afters you can see the reality and then a decent still in limits makeup look with around average amount of foundation and makeup (no "caked" faces).

Do you still prefer natural over makeup?

Do you think black girls tend to get jealous of us white girls? Personally from my experience, I have been called a hoe, dumb and ugly just for being white. The funny thing is that I have lots of black guys after me, but none of them made any negative comments about me. It's only black girls who do.
I had this black friend who clearly got jealous of me when I told her that I recently started dating a black guy. Actually, I didn't tell her the race of the guy I was dating initially, but when I showed her a picture of him, I could see the change in her eyes and how she went from being curious and supportive to being less interested. She gave me this annoying attitude for days until I told her off that being black doesn't give her a reason to br a bitch.

Now I find out that she is talking to one of the boys I had a crush on. LOL. She is clearly trying to upset me but what I actually find sad is how many black girls have to pull us white girls down purely because of how jealous they are. They also have to constantly brag about their non-white traits to the point where it's nothing more than self praise. Us white girls dont need to do that since we have natural beauty, lots of guys has told me this. I dont need to tell myself this ;) the guy I'm dating also has told me his experience with black girls who basically act like incels and blame other black guys for everything. My ex friend also did this to both black guys and white girls.

Girls who don't wear makeup are usually called *basicas* which is funny to me because at least we don't depend on makeup to feel pretty.

There are women who keep instilling in the mind of other women that they're average looking withouth makeup so they have to wear it, which is a disgusting mindset to have if you ask me. A lady should be confident with and without makeup and if she doesn't wear it that doesn't make her a basica or an average looking woman, it honestly makes her stand out. Wearing moderate makeup is beautiful but please don't encourage women to wear it just for the sake of male attention. Encourage them to be confident with their natural beauty.

We know the vast majority of guys are fine with their girl wearing a little makeup ("to enhance her natural features", as the makeup industry has so often hammered into us, so as not to offend anyone, and to do everything they can to encourage more sales), and only some of you like a lot of makeup, or makeup that is very stylized and noticeable.

But people don't talk about hair products much. You'll probably mostly say, "Oh, I like natural." But do you really understand what goes into trying to achieve great hair style?
Y'all are getting used to seeing celebrities in movies and in interviews, and all the 'Insta' accounts which are highly, highly styled. It is achievable when you have a team of professionals at your service, and it's also a lot easier to create a temporary image that looks good online (with filters and retouching and 100 snaps to get just the right single image for post), but in real life, these looks don't feel so nice to the touch. (Hairspray, especially - even 'flex hold' tends to be the worst culprit for making it feel rather stiff... crunchy. Or sticky, or greasy, or just somewhat dirty feeling (even though it's not dirty; it's all about the products on it.) Let's say you can't have both. How much does feeling product in her hair bother you?
