I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years. Throughout this time, i've caught him cheating on me multiple times. Still, I stayed with him and forgave his behavior. I blamed a lot of it on his alcoholism and dysfunctional family life. He would go through periods of bouts of anger, then depression, then very happy and wanting to do anything to make everyone around him happy. Anyway, 1 1/2 years ago he was sentenced to up to 4 years in prison for an assault (he was drunk and knocked a man out in one hit when he caught him looking through his car). My boyfriend then freaked out and ran off because he has a previous felony (nonviolent) from when he was a teenager. Anyway I promised to stick with him because I love him- he was very depressed before he left because the last time he went to jail his girlfriend at the time (they were together 4 years) cheated on him soon after and started dating even though he got out 3 months later. So he expected me to leave him especially with the sentence that he was given.. Well, he will be finding out in a few months if he will be eligible for early release- this year or next year. And well, I dont have any excuses , yes I was lonely, drunk/high on weed, emotionally unstable (i have clinical depression, adhd, anxiety) but I know none of that stuff is an excuse.. I know the real issue in my promiscuity is one regarding my self esteem/ self worth & wanting people to like me since I was always very shy/awkward and was an ugly duckling who got picked on a lot and didn't know how to deal with all the sudden attention men gave me as well as my first sexual encounter being forceful, ever since then I tend to give in when pressured. I've cheated on him a few times now & I feel disgusted with myself, especially since it hasn't happened just once or with one person. Our attraction was instant. It's rare for me to be instantly attracted to a guy. He recently began working at a fast food spot on campus; I went to the spot a couple of times and the attraction was still strong. He seemed shy so I gave him my number and snapchat. He hit me up hours later and made plans. We hung out with two other people. Everything went well. I go home for a week and he would text me. We talked about seeing each other when I came back. So when I arrived and hit him up, he curved me. This was the beginning of a pattern. He would curve me then text the next day apologizing and make plans again, but then curve me. I've asked about it everytime and he said it's not me but he has mad shit going on, but he'll make time for me and that he lives close. Whenever I'd go to the food place, he'd see me and be all flirty. He'd tell me that he would see me but after being curved 3.5 times I obviously don't take him seriously. He actually does have mad shit going on but life can't stop cuz of it. The other day I thought we'd get to hangout but instead drove to his friends place to sit in the car while he stood outside and talked to me not even 15 mins. He mentioned something about me not wanting to be in a room full of guys... he may not have meant anything by it but I take that as him not wanting to be seen with me. (Side note: I used to be fat. Ugly duckling to beautiful swan story is my life. The guy that I was fucking during the ugly duckling part was extremely embarrassed of me). Our only interactions have been that one hang out, whenever I get food, and 15 mins outside my car. I'm super confused. If he's not interested why pretend to be? Also he is aware that Im around another month. So obviously I wasn't looking for anything serious. Which leaves me kinda offended. It makes me think he doesn't want me. I mean even dudes without cars (he's one of em) make effort to see a girl they are interested in. Is he even interested is the question or is he playing me?

Not trying to boast but I'm rich and I can get anything I want but I dun feel good about depending on my parents money and it makes me sick saying I'm wealthy. I was an ugly duckling in the past and then turned out to be the most popular girl in school after three years but I'm not really happy with that cz I'm still the same and I dun give a shit about them, they all talked shit about me and wants to be my friends now? Never.

I just started University and been majoring in Psychology. But as I walk around all of the campus, I find myself comparing every single girl and how much more pretty/cute / attractive than I. I know its bad to think about that kind of stuff, but I hate my the way I look. I been dieting to loose weight I lost around 20 pounds, currently 16 more. But I dont know if thats enough to be attractive? I been self concious all of my life.
