Search Results: approaching a random girl for a date

I ask this because one of my bestfriends is insanely attractive (tall, blonde, blue eyed, thin and foriegn) and no I have never dated her or wanted to, I can't explain that though. Anyway, she gets asked out almost weekly, by colleagues, friends, friends of friends and sometimes just random guys she meets going about town. HOWEVER, out of all the dates she has been on, they almost always tend to be typical D-bags- into themselves, think they are so cool, talk about their interests- what ever stereotypical thing you could think of a typical 'attractive and I know it' guy doing. The thing is, she is very smart and clevor and cares way less about looks than most people woud think.

She is actually upset about MY dating life as I only get maybe 2-3 dates a year, but I actually have succesful relationships and great girlfriends, or at the very least a good date! (she often never wants a second date with the type of guys who ask her out). I think it is because the guys who she would actually like to date, are too intimidated to approach her, so all she gets are the self absorbed D-bag types who talk about how much they can press or what spor they play, but couldn't even discuss a real issue.

Sorry for the ramble there, anyway... Do you think looks can actually hurt girls in getting serious relationships? maybe guys too even.
