Attorney General Sessions declared Monday that the Department of Justice will be creating a religious liberty task force because, "in recent years, the cultural climate in this country—and in the West more generally—has become less hospitable to people of faith. Many Americans have felt that their freedom to practice their faith has been under attack." In his speech he pointed out the sorts of things we can be guaranteed, "He [President Trump] declared we would say “Merry Christmas” again." XD but seriously, he points out that he's insisting the free exercise clause includes both the right to act and not act in accordance with deeply held religious beliefs. In particular he's talking about ensuring these rights to "act and not act" within the public domain specifically referencing the gay wedding cake incident, religious employers having possibly having to fund contraceptives that they disagree with, and equal advertising space for a Catholic group wanting to display a religious message (they were denied by the advertisement company).
