To clarify, I'm 19, in my first year of college, and have never had a girlfriend prior to this.

My college has an art club, and though I usually don't join clubs, and never have in elementary, middle, or high school, I decided to, since I'm open to being more social than I was in the past.

And the club itself is fun. I mean what can I say? We get to draw, and everyone in the club seems supportive and friendly for the most part.

One girl, though, a pretty blonde with fair skin, started to talk and open up to me right away. I'm usually an introvert, but once she started talking to me, I talked back to her. I guess I noticed little hints she liked me. She would smile and laugh often, even when what I said wasn't necessarily funny. Sometimes she would come close to me for no exactly good reason, like to tell me what I could improve on my drawing, she'd get up and stand right next to me, to the point where I could smell her perfume and feel her hair on my face.

I mostly brushed it off as her just being friendly though.

Till one day, as we were walking out of the club meeting room, she told me she really liked me and wanted to go out on a date with me. And so we did.

We mostly just sort of walked around together, talking. We stopped by a few places to get snacks such as ice cream. Then we stopped by her home. And so on and so forth.

We had a great time and I felt as if we've grown closer. And we've hung out several times since, and at this point it's more about spending time with someone we love, than "dating."

But whenever I'm near her, I feel a bit nervous all the time. Though every time I make a mistake, she just smiles, brushes it off, and comforts me. She also hugs me a lot, leans up against me, sometimes lays down on me, wants me to spoon her, etc. And I've never touched someone in my life so much prior to her. My family isn't touchy feely, nor have any of my friends been.

I love her but sometimes feel she's too good for me.

I've known this girl for 2 years since starting university, a simple description would be a gleeful -- odd but outgoing -- focused person aspiring to go to medical school. Me on the other hand, A former anxiety-ridden guy who likes molecular genetics, top of the class but my social life does not exist (2 hour cummute to uni everday).

I saw just another uni friend, yet, I think through her being occasionally with my vicinity (e. g. at meeting events or elsewhere) we both got to know each other on a casual friends level. I knew she was getting comfortable around me; conversations ranged from random mundane stuff to deeper family issues on both sides. I began thinking "maybe, just maybe this person is a tad bit interested in me".

She had invited me to a Korean restaurant with 2 other uni friends we both knew (a homosexual and a guy already with a girlfriend, both similar age). Due to uni work, she cancelled -- which was understandable.

She calls out of the blue and we have plans to go to so the movie "Glass". in short, we were going alone together but I stupidly invite another friend who's 30 and the day involved me not really engaging much (it sucked). We both could tell she was uncomfortable and her excuse to not see the movie after we ate were because she could tell that I was tired and pretty much not enjoying this (which was true). life goes on.

She agrees to go to another restaurant with me (I initiated) and because I have slowly lost interest I cancel this a day before with the excuse -- I have a meeting (that I had no intentions of going to).

The next day I sit next to her in a lounge and things are normal, she had new earrings and dress and the conversation is fine albeit she seems to always try and get me talking despite me not initiating at all.

Back in mid October, I decided to go out of my comfort zone and I added and messaged this really cute girl on Facebook I went to high school with, but never talked to. Anyway, we actually got talking and we started getting along pretty good.
She did live 2 hours away, because of school, so we didn't get together, but we talked more and more and she said she was interested in a relationship. I offered to come up to see her on my nights off, but she had night classes those nights, so I never could.
Anyway, she and I started making plans for her winter break. She had expressed interest in us starting to have sex and meeting parents while she was down here. I changed my schedule to make maximize my I'm with her. Going into the first date we were very excited and I really liked her, I got her a rose and everything, even went to find her favorite hot chocolate for our date.
But she asked to go home because of a migraine and said she wasn't fully over her ex and needed time. She said she thought she'd be fine until our plans became real.
For a few weeks we barely talked, and she'd ask me how I got over my last girlfriend. But lately, I felt I was trying to convince her she should be over her ex and stop ignoring the person who's trying to be in her life.
The other day I sent her a message, saying that I felt I was trying to convince her rather than help the situation. I told her hopefully when things change she'll reach out to me, and I'll be her for her. She said she didn't feel I was doing that, and she appreciates that.
It's been a few days since, and she hasn't said anything to me. I also found her Instagram, and she portrayed herself as a conservative quiet person, but she has a lot of revealing pictures on Instagram, which I guess is the norm now, but a lot of pictures for attention, in my opinion. She also still has a photo of her and the ex on there. I got more upset when I saw the pictures of her doing our plans, but whether she was with family or someone else I don't know.
