I've been in a relationship for about a year and 6 months. I met him as I was getting back on feet after a nasty divorce. He at first appeared to keep up with my wit and sarcasm, we laughed, he bought flowers, took me out to places, lunch dates, explored the sights around the city (even though he hated it) we were intimate. We lived in to different cities but worked together, he wanted me to move in with him, it was cheaper out where he resided, and closer to work, so it didn't seem too crazy. After 6 months I moved in, after about a month, I was let go from work. Of course that could put stress on any couple, but the decline of our chemistry, intimacy, and even communication, in my opinion, shouldn't result in what I'm currently experiencing. I did find a job, not nearly as amazing as my old one, but it was a paycheck, and something I could commute to without a car. He never wanted to go out, we started sleeping in different rooms, sex would happen once a month, then turn into once every 3 months. I understand that not everyone has a high sex drive, and stress can affect a mans mood or performance, but to not even invest the time or want to fix it, is what bothers me. He is very closed at his communication, doesn't like me asking questions about insight or understanding, it ends up in tears. I feel like I've become his mother, cooking, cleaning... He says he loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me, but love to me isn't how he's acting, multiple times I've asked him, what is love to you, define it? His answer is, you can't define it, and quotes some bryan adams lyric. The hard part isn't so much that I love him, but I feel obligated to stay because he's helped me out so much, and I don't have any family or friends since I moved. I went from an IT job to fast food, so my income isn't what it used to be to support my self on my own. A part of me wants to hope it will get better, but there are core characteristics I feel don't adjust or change.

Someone came to my Facebook and told me my boyfriend was online flirting with other girls. The person didn't have a profile picture, nor much information, so I don't even know who it was.

Because the person knew my bf's mail, I asked him to come online, quoted the conversation I had and asked what was going on. He told me there was someone giving his address on random websites (he had already said that a while ago) and that the person was lying. Not gonna lie: I wasn't being aggressive, but I was pretty sad.

I told him that I understood, that I took his word and that I'd forget that. However, he got so mad, said that I let him down, that I shouldn't have bought that story, that he was mad that I even bothered him with this crap.

I know that my boyfriend is not the flirting type. AT ALL. He never gave me reasons to doubt him. EVER

So I didn't believe in her, but I felt the need to ask him, mainly because I felt like extremely sad that someone would even say this to me.

We talked, I reassured that I wasn't doubting him and that I loved him. He eventually stopped being aggressive, we chatted about something else then we said goodbye, he said that he got hurt but that it was over now and that he loved me and that we'd talk tomorrow. Then he went back to work.

So.. what was I supposed to do? Hide this from him and not let him know that someone was talking trash about him?
