Yesterday after gym class I walked through the hallway and stood by myself then my crush came out, he saw me and motioned for me to go over with him. We stood in this corner and talked, he described how I did when we played soccer together then when he saw a group of guys he asked about my crush for the fourth time and tried figuring out who it was (If only he knew it was him). Then out of nowhere he mentioned that he had a girlfriend and then in between our conversation I became quiet and uncapable of speaking

Me:"Why are you asking me who I like if you have a girlfriend?"
Him:"I ask everyone that"
I left him and told my friends about what I had found out then one of them asked him who she was then I said

Me:"Good for you"

When our corner got crowded and filled with people I ran away from there and through the halls for my next class.

I feel so embarrassed and ashamed how I didn't know that, since I do I'm going to hide my feelings and keep them to myself because I'd only be in his way. From here and on I'll just continue being his friend, I've come to realize that's all I'll ever be but I'm okay with it. This whole time I thought he liked me but I guess I was wrong and confused fantasy with reality again but now I know.
