Search Results: testing me with money

So recently in a discussion someone said to me "I think animal testing is okay, as long as there's no other option"

Now this got me thinking. I think there's ALWAYS a different option. I personally believe there are people out there who would do it with money, or alternatively be willing to be experimented on - meaning a person dying anyway would be willing to test a cure that might kill them.

Alternatively, I've always thought that testing on criminals should be acceptable. If it's make-up or cosmetic testing, then on any criminals. If it's drug trials, it should be offered to criminals for rewards or shorter sentences if their crimes aren't incredibly violent. If they are a murderer, I believe taking someone elses right to do what they want with their life revokes their rights also, so we should be free to test on not innocent people instead of innocent animals.
