My sister was telling me about this tonight. My sister is a bit of a stuck up bitch, if I'm honest, but I'm wondering if she's right about this. I'm paraphrasing, but she basically said that women will sometimes flirt with and date guys who aren't as desirable as the woman actually wants, to work her way up to guys she actually wants to date.

Think of like flirting with or dating the chubby but nice guy to see if you can land a better guy down the road. I'm a little bit chubby myself, and she was saying I need to lose weight. I hear what she's saying, and I agree that I need to lose weight, but the dudes I see getting girls (girls at least as hot as the kind who show interest in me), are at least as heavy as me. Because of that reason, and some other life experiences that I have had, I just don't think my weight matters that much in dating. I am open to being wrong though.

Do women actually do this? How much of a turn off is it for a guy to have a belly and love handles?

So anyway, I was just at the local deli in the Carters supermarket, and the girl who got my food is about 140lbs, but she has a 120lbs frame, so she is pretty thick for her frame, but I was thinking "She's still pretty hot like that, I wish she'd lose a few pounds, but I'm not going to tell her that!"

You know, I might even ask whether she has a boyfriend and see if I can get a date. She's fuckable enough anyway.

By the way, I'm still trying to lose my weight. I'm stuck at 195lbs and want to get down to 180lbs at least, but I need to cut calories to about 600 per day to lose that much weight... bummer.
