I mean how it happens in the movies. Two people lay eyes on each other and it becomes something. Or they bump into each other and bam things happen.

I've always been single because I have never had a guy treat me chivalrously like they do in the movies. Or how they seem to like women I used to be friends with. Being serenaded, asked out to the prom or just how it happens unexpectedly.

I know I’m going to end up alone so I don’t even try. And when I did try, the guy always disappoints lol. Am I being unrealistic? I don’t think I am 😶

There’s this girl that used to work with my boyfriend. She’s like 19/20/21 years old. My boyfriend just turned 18 and I am 17. She is in the same grade as his sister and I remember having a few classes with her when I was a freshmen. She worked with him from January until beginning of May when she got fired. I had another friend that worked there and said they flirted with each other all the time. They were close at work. Of course my boyfriend lied and denied any of it. There was some big Easter basket present thing bought buy my boyfriend supposedly and she had his number and he said he never gave her his number and he didn’t buy her that. My boyfriend never texted her but somehow she had his number. He also got several prank calls by various numbers that stopped after she got fired. My boyfriend said he hasn’t talked to this girl since May, so he says. However her Instagram profile has a very well done photoshopped picture of the two together or maybe they took it I don't know. Her profile is now private. He said she’s crazy and that never happened. I think she still talks about him to this day. I recently went on vacation with him and it was great. I went to prom with him and again no problems. I work at this grocery store and saw the girl with her mother today - she looked away and walked faster when she saw me. I then, ran into her again, and I looked away and she pretended like she didn’t see me. I wanted to say something to her but I don't know. Other coworkers say her and her mom frequently come in to buy stuff - if I see her again should I say something to her and what should I say? I love my boyfriend but I feel like he’s lying to me sometimes and he also never posts pictures of us on his social media, I post it on mine and he says he doesn’t want people knowing our business. We are both going to college in the fall and he’s going far away out of state and I’m staying in the state. I don’t know what to make of this.

This girl and I were best friends from 7th grade through senior year. We were both social outcasts at school and got bullied - hell we went to prom together as friends (no we didn’t date lol we are both straight) just super socially awkward. We had a lot of fights but also a lot of good memories. We kept fighting and said a lot of nasty things to each other and broke off our friendship shortly after senior year ended and didn’t speak to each other for 10 months. She contacted me in August of last year and we decided to give it another go. Since we both had no friends and we’re bored sitting at home and going to work. It was fine for a few weeks but then we kept fighting and name calling and threatening each other almost every day. We got into a major blowout on a trip we took for a concert in October. After the concert she said she didn’t want to be friends anymore and that our relationship is too toxic. We fight more then we get along and we fight when we aren’t out doing things. We have similar interests but it just didn’t work out. She changed her cell phone number but I know her house phone number. We haven’t spoke since October. Today, I saw her relatives and they said hi to me and smiled but had a look on their face like sympathy or something it was weird. I currently haven’t had a job in over a month and have been sitting at home day in and day out and I’m about to lose it (I’ve applied to several jobs but nobody will call me back). I have nobody else except my parents and it’s pathetic. I live out in the boon docks too so there’s nothing around to do and I don’t have much money. Her parents would probably answer the phone and recognize my voice if I called and asked for her. I don’t even know if she’d wanna talk to me. What do I even say?
