I go to an all girls school, so our prom was very different. I expect in a typical school the guys nervously ask all the girls to dance and have hopes of getting laid later. Weeeell not in a girls school. My prom consisted of getting drunk on excessive champagne with my two English teachers. It was awesome. (I go to boarding school so I get to know my teachers super well) and it was fcking hilarious. One teacher kept asking me if I did my homework, and the other apparently know all about my boyfriend who picks me up at the weekend, and we just laughed our heads off. Then I spent the rest of the evening dancing with the rest of the girls and watching my drunk chemistry teacher try to break dance on the floor. He is the best.

Nope. I didn't like dances (nor could I dance), and I didn't want my parents spending a ton of money on a dress I would only wear one night! Plus I didn't have a date, haha. My friends at the time went as a group but I was not feeling that at all.
I'm pretty most people that did go to prom don't even remember much about it, or care anymore for that matter.
I went to prom my junior year because they gave juniors free tickets for paying their dues early, and it was pretty lame. I’ll probably skip it this year, especially since I’d have to pay like $60-$100 for a ticket. I won’t regret skipping it though because I got to have a prom experience last year.
I went to prom, took my best girlfriend because the guy I was going to go to prom with went to county jail instead.
I regret going to prom. I’m a junior right now but in my sophomore year a senior girl asked me to go to prom with her. Anyways she put a heck ton of makeup and really dressed to impress, and I only agreed because I wanted to be nice. I didn’t find her attractive as she was sort of party girl who thought I was cute. Anyways she was trying to make conversation with me the whole night while I was trying to be as curt and quiet as possible.
Not in the least. Never went for that kind of stuff.

I voted A. I do kinda regret not going to Junior Prom last school year. I didn't have a dress or anyone to go to prom with. This is my senior year of high school and I'm not planning on skipping senior prom even though I have no one to go with or a dress/gown to go to it in. Of course, I have several months yet to plan everything out.
Nope, I went to the after prom party. Was the first there. All my friends who just came from prom said the prom was terrible. Drinks were spiked, alcohol was present and the cops who showed up found date rape drugs. Everyone agreed the after party was better.
I went to prom and I loved it. The guy who asked me to go had been my crush since 6th grade, and he turned out to be my first love. Plus, I love to dance.
Only because it was an experience in life that I didn't get to partake in. Other than that, I don't. I live to experience new, fun and interesting things. Prom could have been that. I'll never know.
No I bailed that expensive night, and I don't regret it, I couldn't afford it even if I had wanted to go.
I've only seen proms in movies and TV shows , it's not a thing in my country. I wished could attend one, shop for a dress, find a date...
Nope. I was at a huge keg party with live music smoking weed with my friends, dancing with girls, drinking, fucking, and having a lot of fun while kids in the year book club were in the school gym being yelled at by the deans in formal clothes.
I dropped out of school before having the chance to go. I don't regret not going to prom but I do sometimes miss being with my old friends from high school.
Yep. Seems like a no biggie but for the rest of your life you gotta say "I never went to prom because my mom got hit by a tractor and I was at her bedside all night praying for a quick recovery" or some other shit that smells like bull.
LOL my prom was dead NO ONE went. i def don't regret it. they make it seem like its soo bad if u don't go to prom when in reality its really not that important trus me we are not in cinderella world. if that makes sense?
Nope. Im glad I did skip going. The school caught on fire that night
I regret not going to my year 11 prom but not my year 13 prom.
No. Most of the people in my school that I respected graduated a year or two before me. I really didn't have much interest in hanging out with my graduating class.
I am 42 and I did not go to my high school prom.
We never had one!!!
And look where I am now... a Superstar on G@G!!!Prom back in '98. No, I never wanted to go. I never asked a girl to the prom either.
i went to prom and it was a complete waste of money.
Nope lol after I heard how it went from my friends that went, I'm glad I didn't go lol waste of time and money.
No not at all. I didn't have anyone to go with at the time anyway.
Only thing I regret about high school is not telling more people there to f#ck off.
Until very recently this was not a thing in the UK, now its at almost epidemic proportions.
