@Drener posted a question asking about ideas for a Halloween wedding. I had never heard of a wedding on Halloween and my immediate reaction was that it's a very bad idea. I suggested that she would probably regret this in the future.

1. It makes the wedding an entertainment event instead of a serious occasion and it takes away fron the solemnity of the occasion.

2. In the future, celebrating an anniversary on a holiday will potentially interfere with the ability to celebrate the holiday. (E. g., we can't go out to dinner tonight to celebrate our anniversary because we need to get the kids ready to go trick-or-treating.)

It also occurred to me that @OlderAndWiser may be getting older (really!) and that my views don't reflect what a majority of young people would think about this subject. So. . . if you were planning a wedding, would you combine a wedding and Halloween? If you were invited to a wedding on Halloween, or with a Halloween theme, would you think that the bride and groom were not as serious about their wedding? Would you plan YOUR wedding on Halloween?

Lately, me and my friends were having plans on dressing up as masked superheroes for a Halloween party this year. I'm gonna be Spider-Man this year and my friends made a double dare on me to talk and get to know any random girl that I like at the upcoming party and then flirt with and ask the girl to lift my mask up (not completely but only enough for my mouth to be exposed) to kiss me if she asks me who I am and to take my own mask off completely.

Would this be a creepy of me to do?
