It is a sad day for America when we have to take "Boy" out of "Boy Scouts". God forbid boys have something of their own. But come to think about it, males and masculinity have been under attack for some time.

Look at cartoons aimed for children today. Cartoons used to endorse heroism, action, bravery, and were more authentic. If you turn on Cartoon Network today, you would think you were watching Nick Junior. Even some of the shows back then aimed for girls were more action and heroic.

Now vs then:

we all heard of the brand new testlas comeing out but I am curious how many people would not buy one just because of him takeing a stance in politics and does this change your opinion of him?

Should he pay back all his investors, contractors, business partners etc.

He is asking Ukraine to pay back, so why shouldn't he.

Ever since its founding, it has spread devastation and death, and the reasons for its establishment aren't exactly noble (i. e. a small group of extremely rich slave-owners didn't want to pay any tax), and at this time they're unconditionally supporting a genocidal apartheid regime intent on committing ethnic cleansing (Israel).

Anyway, the good news is that the current President is intent on destroying what's left of it, and alienating everyone else on Earth in the process. The evil empire is clearly crumbling. Let's just hope it doesn't take too many other nations down with it.

And, oh yes, accusations of "working for Russia", being a "Russian agent" or "loving Putin" will, of course, be laughed at and treated with the derision it deserves. Not liking a particular nation cannot, of course, be seen as constituting evidence for working for that nation's rivals, a mistake in (very basic) logic that all too many adults tend to make, especially in this paranoid age in which we live.

You see men after a boxing match with cut swollen black eyes etc. Do you think this should be allowed to happen to females too?

You know men are physically stronger than women but what if we switch the places? Would you like it if girls were born stronger compared to boys and women were way stronger than men in society?

I pointed out to someone (I can't remember exactly who) that Republican policymakers are scared of defying Trump because of his supporters. They said that was a good thing, the government should be afraid of the people.

If they'd been referring to millions of people turning out onto the streets, that would be one thing, but what these politicians are scared of is some random Trump supporter taking pot-shots at them.

Do you agree there's a difference?

I believe the pre-Obama era, up until around 2007 was a decent time. Some may say earlier times were even better, and I cannot say I disagree, but I believe these were the last times when people were more down to earth, less absorbed in the Politically Correct (PC) culture (which ran rampant during the Obama years), and were more motivated and optimistic for success.

It could have been because I was still wearing rose colored glasses and I was still rather naive and a kid, considering these years were my elementary school and preteen years. My adolescent years were rough and plagued with severe mental illness. My adulthood years introduced nightmarish situations of their own.

My favorite childhood year was 2004. My parents were more financially sound, I had my best friend at the time named Nick, and the cartoons were good. I could balance technology and playing outside. Kids still went trick or treating and played outside. I rode my bike around and played on my GameCube. I enjoyed my Crash Bandicoot Wrath of the Cortex and Zelda windwaker. My imagination ran wild and I could enjoy the simpler things, even just playing in the backyard and building "ponds" and trenches.

Today, everyone is buried in their phones. People are harsh, tempermental, greedy, tired, lonely, and antisocial. Everyone is beaten down with politics, inflation, and financial burden. People seem to lack empathy and compassion. Corporate greed is insane. People don't take pride in their work. It is sad what we have become.

That's basically what happened in Ukraine. Maybe that's why it's got such broad support. We see in Ukriane the American Revolution.

Is it just me? I usually take the stairs on the side or in between, because people block the way by standing on them. I always felt it was a pointless concept if it was just to stand on. Was it just to make people lazy? If you walk on them (as I do occasionally when there's no one on them), it could speed you up significantly.
