OK, so here's the thing, obviously thecnology will always march into the future, and I'm not completely against it, but I do feel there are aspects of life modern man is lacking because of our dependance on technology (yes I realize the irony of using a device such as my phone that has more computing power than the old computers that took up whole rooms).

I own and use a typewriter, yes I own a laptop aswell, but I find typing out my words on a heavy, sometime finicky machine to be very rewarding. I also enjoy hand writing, in fact the three novels I'm writing are all done on pads before I type them up on my typewriter, then afterwards I type them on my laptop. Up untilled very recently the only digital camera I've ever owned was my cell phone, and I love shooting on film, processing my negatives, and printing in a darkroom. I only use GPS when it's much more convenient, and prefer Orienteering with a map and compass. I have hunted and gathered for food, and find prepairing my own meals from nature much more rewarding to buying it from a store. I could go on and on really, but I won't bore you all.

The question is: Is technology creating a dumb race of humans, or is it just naturally progressing, and the old skills are un-needed? What do you think?

So I am 21, I still live with my mother until I move out in a few months. I have 2 computers a desktop PC and a laptop. No one ever uses my computers or any of my devices they are personally mine.

My desktop PC is visible when you want into my room and there is a minimalist art wallpaper on it.

And for my laptop I no one can see the screen because of the way I have it set up.

And my mom or anyone does not walk all into my room, they just knock at the door or open it up and say what they need. But I have 2 profiles on my laptop, one profile I use for private use at home and one for public when I am out and about.

On my private profile for home use on my laptop I was wondering would it be wrong for me to use a sexy half nude wallpaper of girls as my wallpaper?

And no I don't have a girlfriend or females friends, I'm not at the point yet in my life to be ready for a relationship.

like PS4 or Xbox One games?
