You have been seeing each other for nearly 3 months now. You just came in from an event, you two coordinated your outfits, had your fun and now were ready to unwind. You sit down on the couch and put on a show that both of you watch together, you consider it “our show”.

You say “You know I stopped dating after I met you, I even turned down dates and deleted (dating app). As long as we keep doing this I’m only going to be with you, I don’t want to see anyone else. What about you?”

They say “I’m not looking for anyone else either” and they delete the dating app in front of you.

Did you agree to be exclusive?

I don't mean, you show up wearing matching outfits (and maybe you do, not judging), but I mean you decide together what you're going to wear vs. s/he picked their outfit with no input from you whatsoever.

So, we always hear women adamant to claim that they don't look good for anyone but themselves and how egocentric it is to believe it's for others blah blah blah.
Personally, I don't believe that much. Maybe their main goal isn't to impress others, but it's definitely in the top 3 reasons, whether it be directly or indirectly. The reason you feel good is because of the compliments and attention.

Who tf would seriously pour hot wax on their skin, rip the hair from roots, or even the tedious process of shaving. Takes forever to perfect winged eyeliner, and do that contour and other crap, for themselves only? Lol
That's not even to mention the perfectly coordinated outfits.

I'm sorry, but I just can't imagine anyone willing to take so much time just because they "feel like it".
If you were stranded on an island by yourself, assuming with your makeup would you do all that? Really?
I'd look like Chuck from Cast Away with Wilson lol Not like Beyonce "I woke up lyk dis".

So who do men dress or look good for? To attract a mate as almost every creature in the animal kingdom, or themselves like women claim? Lol do peacocks have such vibrant beautiful feathers for themselves?
And be honest please, time to fess up too ladies, or give me the real reason why y'all dress up.

I won't lie, if I'm trying impress someone, I'll put a little effort. My natural state is lazy af. So if I dress up, it's because my job requires it (I legit had a boss tell me to stop looking sloppy) or because I find someone attractive and I want him to notice me. Or it's my birthday and I wanna be a hot bitch for the day.

I want to dress how i normally dress so i am comfortable, but still dress on the nice side. So i'm making a bit more effort to make sure the colors go well. I have a lot to discuss with him so i want to dress on the gentle side so i feel calm, and not have my clothes be a distraction so i have chosen gentle but nice colors. Form fitting clothing so that i appear genuine not hiding but with a security graceful cover up in the shawl., so i do not feel provocative. I am content with the outfit... i'm just not sure on mixing and matching shades. I don't usually give it much thought. THANK YOU.
