Republican Senators in Minnesota Propose Bill to Classify ‘Tr*mp Derangement Syndrome’ as a Mental Illness

group of five Republican state senators from Minnesota is set to introduce a controversial bill that would classify “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS) as a mental illness.

The proposal, scheduled for review by the Minnesota Senate Health and Human Services Committee, argues that the condition is characterized by an “acute onset of paranoia” triggered by the presidencies of Donald Trump.

According to the bill’s text, TDS symptoms include “Trump-induced general hysteria, which produces an inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and signs of psychic pathology in President Donald J. Trump’s behavior.” The legislators further suggest that these symptoms may manifest as intense verbal hostility and even “overt acts of aggression and violence” towards Trump and his supporters.

my honest prediction is this will never pass and is just these politicians wanting attention and think d*ck riding Trump is the way to stay in power. The fact that they felt like this was ok to do is troubling to me. but whatever what do you think?

So here is my concern, when we promote transgender or make acceptation for them are doing so with the belief that's it in their best interest or are we causing them more harm by enabling/ignoring a greater mental health issue?

John Hopkins Medicine defines Body Dysmorphic Disorder as;

Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) is a mental health problem. If you have BDD, you may be so upset about the appearance of your body that it gets in the way of your ability to live normally. Many of us have what we think are flaws in our appearance. But if you have BDD, your reaction to this “flaw” may become overwhelming.

No where in the John Hopkins article does it recommend or even mention sex transition as a viable treatment option. Actually it cites having unnecessary surgeries as a symptom of the disorder and not a treatment or a cure. It talks more about treating the mental disorder with assistance of mental health profession to develop healthy was of living and coping with the disorder.

Now I am not shaming or bashing on Transgenders, but I do not believe in promoting transitional surge as a good treatment option and I fear it is potentially more harmful, because it causes all new problems for individuals who are already suffering from a mental illness.

People talk about mental health treatment as if they hand it out on the street corner for free. IT'S FAR FROM FREE!! I have a friend who went to see a psychiatrist and was diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia, he was involuntarily sent to a mental ward for 3 days and was left with a $1200 bill after. His insurance covered 80% of the bill. I can't afford that, and I don't have health insurance. I find it tragically ironic that people suffering from mental disorders have the hardest time finding and keeping a job yet mental health care is ridiculously expensive, and they wonder why most homeless people struggle with mental illness.

I tend to talk about my mental struggles on the internet because it's the best I have, it's not good, but it's pretty much all I got. I don't talk about it with family and friends because I was abused by my family and they're the main reason for my disorders and I have no friends because of my disorders.

I NEVER EVER say "I have" I always say "I struggle symptoms of" because I'm not properly diagnosed. I have a good idea of what I may have, but I'm not an expert, so I don't think I have the credentials to diagnose myself.

Also, nobody knows me in real life, so I don't use my mental illness as a tool or a weapon. Most people who know me in real life don't know what I struggle with and even with the people who know, I don't talk about it much. People who use and weaponize their mental illness disgust me.
