In recent weeks, with the looming possibility (now reality) of Roe v. Wade being overturned, I have read countless comments from women saying that men should do more to support women in their fight for reproductive choice. But I've not seen any of them supporting men's right to reproductive choice. Not one.

The argument women use is one of "bodily autonomy", but studies show the vast majority (96%) of abortions are for reasons like not being emotionally ready to become a parent, not wanting a child to interfere with education or career plans, not being in a stable relationship or not having the financial means to support a child. In other words, all the same reasons men might not be ready to become a parent.

So the bodily autonomy argument is disingenuous at best, but they have to use it because the true reasons women choose abortion are the same ones men have to not want to become a parent, but don't have the right to exercise like women had before Roe v. Wade was overturned. It's about personal autonomy, not bodily autonomy, and both women and men should have equal rights to personal autonomy.

I'm talking about men having the right to a "paper abortion", which means signing away all their parental rights and responsibilities early enough in the pregnancy that the mother could still choose to have an abortion. That would require that women must notify the father she is pregnant, but today men don't have the right to know they have a child, born or unborn. A woman can have a man's child and never tell him, or she can choose to tell him years later and demand child support having already robbed the father of many years with his son or daughter.

So guys... if women were more supportive of YOUR right to "personal autonomy" and to know you have a child in the world, would you be more likely to advocate for women's right to personal autonomy (i. e., abortion)?

In my view one should need parental consent to own a firearm if they are under the age of 21.

In the instance of parental consent this would have prevented a lot of school shootings operating under the assumption that most of these kids were loners and would not have otherwise had the proper connections to secure a firearm illegally.

Therefore I conclude this change in law could very well have made a difference, while still protecting the rights of law abiding citizens.

It is for this reason I propose teenagers should not be able to legally purchase firearms for themselves.

Since teenagers are not fully mature and their brains are still developing, that is why I find it best to leave it up to the parent’s discretion as to whether or not they can own a firearm.

Considering how immature and irresponsible that most teenagers tend to be I think its naturally safest. Even if most of them don’t necessarily go on to become school shooters, they are often ill equipped in terms of the personal responsibility that would be needed to properly care for a firearm.

Especially with voting they tend to make very bad and uninformed decisions.

My point being as a recent teenager myself, I don’t trust most of my peers to act responsibly with guns or alcohol for that matter, since most of them lacked mental maturity and would likely not be handling things responsibly and safely even if they weren’t necessarily set to become school shooters.

I understand that they can still join the military at 18 and handle guns but its an entirely different situation when you are under a chain of command and supervisors that are there to discipline you, train you and hold you accountable

Yes, an unmarried father has a duty to maintain his child and the child has a right to be maintained by his/her father. The duty to maintain his child is the only parental responsibility that automatically clings to the unmarried father, regardless of the circumstances.
With that said here's the current Bill of Rights Father's currently have.

1. When can an unmarried father obtain parental rights and responsibilities towards his child?
An unmarried father does not always have automatic parental rights and responsibilities, however, he can obtain parental rights and responsibilities in the following circumstances:

if he was living with the child’s mother at the time of the child’s birth; or
if he, regardless of whether he has or is living with the mother of the child –consents or applies to be identified as the child’s father, or pays damages in terms of customary law;
contributes or has attempted in good faith to contribute to the child’s upbringing for a reasonable period; and
contributes or has attempted in good faith to contribute towards expenses in connection with the maintenance of the child for a reasonable period.

2. How can an unmarried father obtain parental rights and responsibilities?
If the unmarried father and the biological mother of the child cannot come to an agreement on the rights and responsibilities of the unmarried father, he can apply to the:
Children’s Court, for care and/or contact;
High Court for guardianship; or
High Court for care, contact and guardianship.

After breakups, Sepeartions or divorce, things have a bad habit of getting messy.

The ex Boyfriend/husband lose almost all areas of Parental rights. Would you be willing to share the following responsibilities with your Ex boyfriend/husband/co habitant?

Joint legal Child custody
Reproduction rights
Father's rights , responsibilities, duties.
Parental control
Parental security
Parental teaching
Religious spiritual rights

This isn't a poll of weather abortion should be allowed or not. This is a poll because abortion is allowed. If a woman can abort her child, without the father's consent, and keep it without consent as well, should the father have this same right? By "abort" I mean absolve himself of all parental rights and responsibilities, to include child support.
