Search Results: the date never materializes

I need an honest opinion, please.

I'm 30 years old and I live all the way out in the middle of nowhere (the nearest "Big Town", with anything resembling a gym, a movie theater, or a resturaunt that doesn't serve pre-packaged meals, is 50 miles away) where the most of the residents are over 60 and the male to female ratio in my particular age bracket is horrible for single guys like me, most of the girls i I went to school with got hitched almost immediately out of high school or went to college, leaving the rest of us to literally fight over the few remaining "bachelorettes". That, plus I'm almost always at work, even through the weekends and I have been since I was 18. I was never able to afford college and none of the degrees offered by the nearest (70 miles away) colleges interest me.

All that combined, I rarely have interactions with women between the ages of 19-35, I've only been on a handful of blind dates set up by coworkers and relatives but no real relationships. I long for companionship but I don't think it'll ever materialize.

So, here I am, seeking validation.
