I've come to the realization that a lot of the holidays we celebrate in America shouldn't be celebrated. Thanksgiving is about colonists and native americans teaming up to massacre another group of native americans. Christmas is all about profits. It has nothing to do at all about Jesus. Christmas originated from the roman holiday Saturnalia, which has nothing to do with Christ. In fact based on text from the bible researchers discovered that Jesus probably wasn't even born in the winter. Columbus day is about a white guy "discovering" already discovered land and murdering the people who already lived there. Halloween originated from a Celtic holiday. The people believed that during a certain time of the year ghosts and demons could walk the earth so they dressed up like them to trick them. Groundhogs day is complete bull. I don't feel like going into detail about Valentines day. But the point is most of American holidays are either about white people killing people or some other random reason. What do you all think?
