My girlfriend followed him and he messaged her then they exchanged phone numbers. I have already talked to my girlfriend about this and she tells me that there isn’t anything wrong with her making friends while with me. I feel controlling now and think I might just be over reacting now? Do you see any red flags or am I just being controlling? Here is the screenshot he sent me. I am 5' 9" and that is very average for an adult Caucasian male in the US. I have been rejected by a few girls who were taller then me. It was a bummer but I survived. Most of the girls I have dated have been 5' 0" to 5' 2" but I have dated a few girls who were 5' 8" - 5' 9".

I hear short guys on this site whining about how girls all want a guy who is at least 6' 0" tall and it souds like nonsense to me. Sounds like butthurt boys looking for an excuse! Think about it: if girls refused to date guys shorter than 6' 0", then that means that 85% of all guys would NEVER have a date. You know that's not the way it really is.

I believe that SOME girls are size queens about a guy's height, just like SOME guys refuse to date a girl smaller than 36D, but thse are just outlier lunatics. But YOU aren't a lunatic, so do you have a height requirement for guys you date? (And if you post a comment, can you please state your height?)

I am contemplating on returning to school to find a wife, even if I take some part time classes here and there.

I am not seeking validation otherwise, I would have posted a selfie and asked if you thought I was attractive. The truth is that I am not butt ugly and some girls will call me "okay" while others will say they have no attraction to me whatsoever. The reason I still can get girls is because I am okay looking, and some will settle for me. The thing is I am not a 6/10 or above. I am at best, a 5/10, on my best hair day.

The truth is that I persisted anyway, and I tried dating, regardless with optimism. I was cheated on, hit physically and ended up comparing myself with guys that I was left for. Yes, the girls I dated would leave me for other guys all the time. I remember the first time it happened, I cried, and I asked her, "is it because he is more attractive than me?" The girl told me, "Oh, stop. I am not answering that question." I still managed to regain confidence every time, but the same thing always happened. One girl told me, "It is like cars. I won't wash or take care of an ugly car." Because she broke up with me and took the new handsome guy camping with her own money. I asked her why she was treating him so much better than me and she responded with that car comparison. I also do not have a boring personality. I am fun, pretty smart and have a successful path laid out.

It has just been really rough, and I am at the point of just giving up. Maybe it is the girls I am dating? I will mention that I have only ever dated above my league so maybe I should date down instead?

To be honest most of them are very cute girls, two of the five Tinder girls I have matched with are blue-checked, and so is one of the two Bumble girls I have matched with. All of them are within the 20-to-90-mile range and are aged 18 to 22. Two more girls (including a bisexual one) swiped right on me but I swiped left on those ones. I swiped left on the "woman" on Bumble who definitely looked like a hairless man.
