So, lately I’ve been thinking about starting a club at school. I want to name it “R. O. L. E. S.” as in everyone has or plays a role in someone else’s life. It stands for “Roles Of Love, Empathy, and Service”.

The premise is that we do acts of service and kindness for communities that really need that love or extra support. It will also be a way for students to gain community service hours.

Yes, I want to build a strong community within the club, but I also want everyone to feel like they don’t have to interact with other people they don’t know ALL of the time. I want to be able to provide activities that don’t need people to interact with other people directly and have them still get community service/activism hours for it.

My vision is that there’ll be different layers to it, or two different groups working on projects. What I want to do is: have people who don’t want to interact with others (like at fairs or other school events) do all of the background or set up work. Those who don’t mind taking to others can sign up to speak with others. Anyone is open and welcomed to do both or just one. This way, everyone can participate in any way they’d like, get hours, and feel comfortable doing it.

I’m posting this to ask if anyone thinks it’s a good idea to do this. I’m not sure if there’s a club similar to this in my school, so it’s definitely just an idea for now.

Also, if it does happen to be a good idea, does anyone have any ideas as to which programs/communities we could reach out to in order to help?

I want to do acts of kindness in this club. For example, we could have a day where we hand out roses to people whose names got written down by a friend who asked us to give it to that person. Maybe, we could write cards to the elderly. We could also help suicide prevention hotlines (though I don’t know we’d get to that point of permission).

If anyone has ANY ideas for as to what we could do, please let me know.

My Librarian job that I had was really easy, but very boring. There was nothing challenging about it. It was the main reason I left besides the co-worker drama where they gossiped about everyone.

But the Customer Service Advocate job I have is challenging which I really like. I feel like I'm more productive and I really like my co-workers. I've even befriended one and we go out sometimes after work.

I honestly feel like I’ve accomplished nothing. I feel like with high school with getting test and stuff, I had things I could look forward to but now being an adult. The pressure is on to make my life what I want and you have to go against people who are like 50/70 and it’s a rat race.

Then you have to think about a family. Then having your own home. It’s just very stressful. Who would’ve thought having more options would be a bad thing but to me, it seems like it is. I just wish I could feel accomplished and in love and financially set but the way everything is, the bar is raised every day and omg, trying to make friends when you’re not in a controlled environment is next to impossible. I can rant forever and ever

• When you use the Right to Information Act, they refuse to disclose any information.

• A tea seller becomes the leader of the country and then tells others to sell tea instead of providing jobs, while he wears clothes that are 1000 times more expensive than what the average person in his country can afford.

• Some people get reservations based on their caste in both educational institutions and jobs.

• Interviewers ask stupid questions, like whether you can cook or if you listen to hymns, even if the job doesn’t require any of those skills or qualifications.

• You receive at least one call from scammers every month.

• Rape and arranged marriages are the most common ways for boys to get sex.

• Three out of ten boys ask you to send them lots of pictures before they take you seriously.

• Boys who lack skills and have a thin, short penis demand 5 million dollars (either directly or by asking about your income) to marry you.

• This country has the highest number of iron rod insertions inside female bodies.

• Stray animals roam freely on the roads, even in big cities.

• Finding human feces at railway stations or on roads is rather common.

• The accent sounds very unpleasant, and they’re proud of it. They bully you if you don’t talk like them.

• They sell dangerous cosmetics to lighten women’s complexions but lose their minds if a safer lightening cream is released for men in that country.

• Only boys are supported and encouraged to leave the country. Girls have to marry one of those boys to have a chance at moving abroad.

• They can memorize facts like robots, but if you ask them for a reason, they can’t explain it in simple words (and if you can’t explain something in simple words, you don’t understand it, according to Einstein).

• Parents here think their children, especially girls, are their slaves.

Do you think the examiners are seriously creepy? Would you get suspicious? Would you trust the fairness of that exam? Would you be weirded out?

If you wanna get famous real fast, i can transfer all my simps to start worshipping you and recruit even more if needed.

Is this a profitable occupation?

After I got off work yesterday I was walking around the store with my friend. I stopped to buy something and my store manager walked past us. He mumbled something about getting back to work before he realized I was off the clock. As he walked away we both caught a whiff of beer. My friend mentioned it first because she wanted me to know it wasn't her.

It's not the first time he's smelled of some kind of booze during business hours.
