To leave doors and windows slightly ajar is a deep rooted tradition tied to Ancient Celtic festival of Samhain which directly evolved into modern day Halloween to welcome back relatives because of the Thinning of the Veil.

It was believed on October 31st the boundary between the living and the world of the dead became blurred or thin, and leaving doors and windows ajar allowed spirits of their dead loved ones back into their home, ensuring they had an unhindered entrance.

Fires were also kept burning, and candles placed in the windows to guide the spirits of relatives back home.

Food and drink were left outside or on the table as an offering to appease the spirits and ensure a good winter.

There are parallel traditions all around the world for the "open door" including Mexico and Latin America, and in various European Christian traditions, families visit gravesides and leave lanterns and doors unlocked so the spirits can visit their former homes.

Meaning they could possibly be on the spectrum or learning disability or something like that

Some say HOOTERS has good food, while others say the atmosphere (good looking waitresses) is what makes HOOTERS special.
