I get the need to brag every once in a while, giving yourself a pat on the back when you’re good at something for example. Like all eyes were on me at this party, I killed it at this or that, I’m good at my job etc. But in my opinion it’s all about moderation, when you’re cocky & feel the need to always give yourself praise & then come across as condescending to others at times that’s when I have an issue. 29F & I’ve experienced this with men & women in my life. The women were self absorbed & the men were conceited & I chose to distance myself from all of them. Maybe I’m overly an avoidant attachment style but my mom for example would suggest I keep these people in my life just don’t expect much from them or to just keep them at arms length. At the same time, I’m not in the mood to be around people that bring me down or are so full of themselves, how is this not draining to people? Again self praise is definitely called for but when you’re bragging or coming across like you’re better than everyone else…that’s kind of a problem.

It seems like fewer people are good with their hands these days whether it's building, repairing, or creating things. Do you prefer a handy partner?

I chose my list based upon bonds/chemistry, how they treat each other & the wholesomeness. Love the way they look at each other, what they do the other, how they speak to each other/ spend their time together- when together, & overall just their visual aesthetic. Love all of them with all my heart. A few of them remind me of my husband & myself & I just see couples differently now. I’m not like a hater/ hopeless. I genuinely smile when I see these couples on medias making memories &/or just having a good time. It’s nice to see the mutual respect & affection. Some of them having similar goals & lifestyles, & just the overall togetherness. I don’t think honestly there’s any couple as wholesome as these!

* Hana sim + David have genuinelyyy made me laugh many times. They’re down to earth.

Alice + Alex are inspiring with their consistent health regimen & time for chill/ fun. They get along well & I can tell their love is kept private which I respect 100%.

Beast + Marcus are very affectionate & gentle with each other & always do surprises/ say how much they love each other.

I love the respect shared between Nick + Priya. Nick has embraced her culture & they seem just to hold each other to high esteem while balancing private life.

Jen + Ben lol - literally capture my heart with the long lost love & you can see their happiness of finally being together after mistakes of youth & almost missing out on a happy experience in life.

Their respect, affection, goofiness, dedication, & loyalty won my heart & reminds me always to give the same to my baby. When u find someone who deserves the world, u just want to give them a dozen of them 😆 It’ll never seem to be enough.

Hi All,

I have been with my boyfriend for 8years ; we have been through everything together. Bought a house together a small business and he supported me through serious illness (I had cancer); but whenever I bring up the subject of getting married he shys away from the idea saying its not the right time or we are too old now whats the point (he's 51). Its important to me and i think we have been through enough together that I think we can get through anything. Part of me thinks he just doesn't want to spilt because he doesn't want to have to sell the house etc. I have asked him this and of course he says no. Is he waiting for someone better to come along? or is he just comfortable in our current situation? Should I leave?
