This question is a response to a user who was called immoral because he would do anything God tells him to, and believes blind obedience to be the most moral course of action.

So, since infanticide features so prominently within the Bible, would you be willing to help God kill babies if he commanded it? You might have to use a knife, like Abraham, or he might give you a magic death stick, like Moses.

Note: This is hypothetical and is under the assumption that your God (and not Satan or any other being) has commanded you to do this. I'm sure some of you will say "God wouldn't hurt children", but to that I'd say: Go read the Bible!

I think God must seriously consider to register to one of these idiots class so the Most High can be instructed and learn something from them since they have more knowledge and understanding than God himself. 🤔 #AmITerrible

I don't pray anymore because I'm not religious... But God doesn't have a phone... So... A few years back, I had to break up with him through prayer... He never replied... But I'm sure we're still good pals! Right God¿ :')

Christianity has inspired some great stories and none greater in my opinion that the 1997 masterpiece - The Devil's Advocate with Al Pacino. Keanu Reeves was also in this film. I mean beat that.
then there is every Christmas movie, the life of Brian, Bruce almighty, little Nicky and a few other iconic horror flicks like Rosemary's baby, the exorcist and Dracula.

Islam has indirectly inspired most terrorist re-enactments like zero dark 30 and some other war movies.

Allow me to explain exactly what I mean by this. I've discussed various topics with various people on this site/app, with religion probably being among the most common. I'm non-religious and my view is that you can't choose what you believe in. I can't make myself believe that the Earth is flat or that the sun is actually the egg of a dragon or that God exists.

Many people disagree with that idea and instead argue that you can choose what you believe in, and that if you wanted to believe in God, you would.

Do you think that you can choose to believe in something that you find to be entirely irrational and unsubstantiated? Do you view belief as simply being the outcome of our understanding of the world and therefore not a conscious choice at all?
