Perhaps this story didn't get your attention today; the Dallas shootings certainly deserved the headlines they received. Rep. Corrine Brown (D) has served the 5th Congressional District of Florida
and the previous 3rd District since 1993. She is flamboyant, grossly inarticulate, egocentric, self-serving, and an embarrassment to this state. She has been the subject of previous ethics inquiries and perhaps she thought that she was as teflon as Hillary, but today she was indicted on 24 counts which all centered around fraudulent solicitation of funds for a charity which ultimately lined her pockets with substantial amounts of cash.

Unless you are illiterate and can't read, my bias is rather obvious. Based on her history of self-righteous behavior and absolute denial of the truth, she will not do the honorable thing and resign her position; instead, she will continue to serve in the House unless that body votes to expel her (which is unlikely unless and until she is convicted or pleads guilty.) What are your thoughts on the current scandal involving madame representative from the 5th District?

I've been thinking.

This girl I'd been sweet on for several years finally started seriously talking me, and said she'd liked me for a really long time and Just played hard to get. So, boom. My absolute dream girl was mine, but i got in my feelings and told her i still had feelings for my ex. She told me she was glad i told the truth and that she'd give me time to think about it. Well, it was a setup, because i literally thought about it and then told her i wanted her. .. but she declined. I have not since gotten a second chance. We were still cool until last summer, where i offered to take her out and surprised her with a care package of flowers, her favorite plush, and a note with tix to an event.

Then she blocked me off of everything.

So, even tho i slipped up, i admit. .. i was totally smitten with her, and obvs still think about her today. I feel like if she won't give me a second chance, she didn't like me that much in the first place. That, or i hurt her so bad she's afraid to give me another chance. One of her and my close friends always said That she was thinking about it at work after i bought those tix, so I don't know. You wouldn't consider what you definetly don't want, right? I'm going with the former tho. It's her birthday today, and I'm going to wish her a happy one. This is probably my last attempt at an olive branch.
