As I read through the feeds, I couldn't help but notice that this link keeps popping up in several questions and responses.

Personally, not only do I find this to be outdated, UPDATED: 03:22 GMT, 19 May 2011, as it's rapidly approaching it's 2nd year anniversary, but I find it to be purely subjective and has nothing to do with accurate or actual science.

I've personally seen women in ALL racial groups who I found were attractive. I've also found women in ALL racial groups who I didn't see as attractive as others. Of course, I was going by my personal standards as a man and not some commercialized standard and it is clearly subjective based on the features a woman has that I find attractive.

Granted I am only one individual, one man, and what I may find attractive may not be seen in the same likeliness by the next man, but that is what makes us all individuals, with varying opinions on everything, not just what women we find attractive. I find the taste of some foods as unappealing, but it sells because others don't share my tastes.

Attractiveness is subjective and the perception of it will vary from individual to individual. This is why we see so many varying couples in the world today. Our preferences are based on that subjectivity.

There will always be some people who seems to have preference for other races as well as those who don't find people within a particular race as attractive. There are people who find the opposite gender of their own race not as appealing as those from other races.

I believe "if" there were subjects selected for his research that they were pre-screened in order to achieve a desired effect. I also do not believe that his subjects covered a vast number of people from various walks of life in order to substantiate a more realistic conclusion. I don't believe he was qualified to perform such research. His motivations regarding performing such a study we may never know, but in my opinion it's nothing but pure racism. link I searched for a link that would identify how his research was conducted and how his conclusions were formed but came up empty.

Black women today endure so much negativity, quite often at the hands of Black men and even more often at the hands of men of other races. It's clear to see why so many have become outspoken and others have esteem issues when at every turn someone is saying something negative about them. They endure terrible stereotypes but still many persevere.

It would be nice to one day live in a society that will look at everybody and realize the positive in every racial group, even better if moral character would be the new standard of which to be judged and not because someone's physical features identify them with a particular racial group

My mind ponders various things.
