I've been talking to this guy for a couple months, we were being super flirty and would talk about what we would do when we meet up and a lot of it was something I wasn't comfortable doing. He has told me he liked me and he was intrigued about me. He isn't the greatest texter, it seemed like he would message me when he was free/bored. I told him I didn't think it was going to workout/ I want to see where its going with someone else. Throughout days he would message me and I wouldn't respond. Then recently he messaged me saying...

Him: "Are we not talking anymore?"
Me: I thought we talked about this ( that i wasn't comfortable and I wanted to see where it went with someone else)

Then he was telling me he still likes me and told me not to stop texting him. I told him i would give him a chance but I don't want to go all the way. He said he can live without sex, he just wants to see me. He told me he wants a decent girl and I told him i sometimes missed our conversation.. then he was like "I know you've missed me"

- I rely on dating apps to meet people but they suck and I have no social life.
- I expect to find a decent guy however I don’t make the first move to speak to guys.
- The guys I’ve met online message first and when it seems positive, it never works out. There is usually a lack of connection.
- I’ve been on and off dating apps and have had no luck what so ever.

I seriously do not know what I’m doing wrong. People say the right person came into their life when they least expected it however I’m never pursued by guys. I meet people that are able to move on easily after a bad breakup. I have never had a breakup like that better yet a boyfriend and am always alone. I’m told I’m attractive but guys don’t seem to want to date me. My mother says I’m the issue. Do you think she has a point that I’m unrealistic?
