I use one Bengali idiom very often, word by word in English. It is "Hear it with your one ear and get it out with the other" it means not to listen to someone, to ignore what someone says or listen yet not just give a damn about it; such as your teacher lecturing you, people fat-shaming you, bitching/gossiping friends, urban legends, internet trolls, and just hearing something not pleasing. By the way, what is its English equivalent? I'd love to know.

So my crush is extremely outgoing he has a bunch of close friends of any gender and is a trouble maker... whenever he is near me he seems very mad and annoyed and always wants to get away (some people in the class ship me with him so he proably knows that) but he is always ignoring or avoiding me but whenever I do interact with him like helping him pick up something he seems nice and will just stare at me in shock and confusion the entire time... and mumbles things.. he seems really shy too like he doesn't know how to talk to me (maybe cause I'm shy?) anyways his always flirting with another girl but still seems to stare at me a lot and even is kind to me in interactions..

but then later whispers to his friends and points at me and laughs with his friends almost like their gossiping about me... he used to like me a lot and we used to talk a fair bit but ever since I told my friends I liked him he stopped all signs for me apart from the staring...

I don't know what it is and its starting to annoy me
oh and his friends hate me (glare at me) and stare

So yesterday there were 27 companies at school and I talked to some of them. One really stood out and later he said I should send him a mail if I want the internship. I really liked the company. 2 other classmates are interested as well and there’s a chance one of them will go there as well. The girl is the human form of migraine and the guy is the most annoying gossiping potato you’ll ever meet. He even told me: “ and they were really interested in you?” I won’t survive 3 months if I have to work together with them, day in, day out.
