My boyfriend is eight years older than I am. I started talking to him online when I was 14 and we started dating a few months after. I never actually met him in person until almost my 16th birthday. We hid our relationship until I recently turned 18 years old, because of the fact that him being so much older than me and me being a minor it was illegal for us to be together. Do you see a problem with something like this? Do you you have a preference when it comes to dating someone older, younger, or your age? How big of an age gap is too big for you?

This is kind of a rant but advice is also greatly appreciated. I have these two friends, a guy and a girl. The guy is one of my best male friends and I love our friendship. Back in May/June we had a very minor flirtationship and since then I've been unsure if I have actual feelings for him. The girl is a close friend and she great but she's generally a trashier version of me (or I'm a classier version of her). So the guy and the girl met. She broke up with her boyfriend and now the guy and girl have been going on dates and might become an actual relationship. I thought I was fine with this but now it's starting to bother me. Both of them are my friends and mean a lot to me, although I'm better friends with the guy. I just don't know what to do whether I should let their thing play out or if I should somehow try to stop it.

Ex dumped me for minor reasons. He liked me for a long time, year and 8ish months, but we were only dating for a month. He says he still loves me a lot and always will. More than a friend. But he said we can't be more than friends. We still text each other. He says there's no one else and I don't see anyone on his social media. We're not long distance. We live in same city. He says we can hang as friends, but I'm on vacay now and we haven't hung as friends yet.
