I need advice.. Acually I need someone to convince me to either give up on this one girl or keep trying..

Im so mixed up.. One moment she seems to like me the next she couldn't care..

What I know about her..

She shy when she's alone but bubly around friends..

She has a trust issue but I don't know exactly why.. Or of what

She acts jelious when I'm talking to another girl.. But her friend thinks that she just a guy hog..

She'll date other guys when she had a boyfriend.

Shes playful.. And flirty.. But sometimes she flirts with everyone not just me..

She request me to be places for her but won't explain why

And I really think she likes me.. But she won't admit it.. Because of the trust issue.. Again I don't know

And she has one other issue that's personal.. But I'm not judging her on that..

So basicly I want to give up.. But at the same time I don't want to.. Its wierd..

Im teetering on the question..

And I asked girls a little while ago what it was that they regreted most.. And a lot said of girls said it was a guy.. So I'm wondering how may people would say to keep trying.. I know what I'm fighting is her trust issue.. And I would give her all the time in the world if only she told me she likes me once.. But she hasent

So I want to hear your oppions.. Should I or shouldn't I keep trying

If someone can give me one good reason I will continue to ask her out..

But

If someone can give me a good enough reason to give up.. Then I will..

And if she happens to reads this.. I'm giving you a chance even after everything to change my mind.. Other wise I'm most likly gone soon

In February, a friend of mine was going out with a girl (girl A). I eventually got to meet her & when I started talking to her we clicked. In the meantime another girl (girl B) was showing interest in me. I've always known girl A would be a great girl to have as a girlfriend but she was off limits so I didn't even entertain the thought. I also viewed girl A as an opportunity to get advice from for Girl B, which ended up biting me in the ass. I would always ask girl A for advice.

So early march comes along, girl A breaks up with her boyfriend. I didn't entertain the thought of hitting on her because I thought we were too good friends, such as we always texted each other at least 100 times a day, no joke. So I continued to hit on girl B, & ask girl A for advice. When I asked girl A for advice she would always get frustrated & I just thought she was annoyed by it.

I get girl B phone number right before spring break starts. I didn't ask girl B out at all because she had told me she was going to Cabo for basically ALL of spring break. As friends, the Monday of spring break (march 28) me & girl A hung out. I started too fall for her then & forget about girl B but I denied it to myself. So Thursday of break (march 31) Me & girl A got into a convo via text about the moves we make when we like another guy/girl.

Girl A had told me a week later after she had broke up with her boy friend, that she liked some one else already but it was too early for her too start hooking up with people & I would flip a flying *&%.^". So that Thursday, I asked her who she liked & she told me & yes I flipped a flying *&^%, because not only do I hate the kid, but I also realized I liked her. So I didn't text her for 2 days straight & I wanted to clear my head. She asked one of my REAL close friends what was wrong with me & he told her that I liked her. So she texted me id pick you over [the guy she liked] which dragged me into this. then she said that she feels more comfortable around [the guy she likes], would always feel that she won't be "smart enough, pretty enough or skinny enough for me" & didn't want to ruin our great friendship. she also said that she did start to gain feelings for me when I liked girl B, but she felt like she had no chance and moved on.

I persuaded her to give me a chance & chill w me next Saturday (April 9). so on April 8, she starts giving me signs that she's at least excited for this informal "date" by telling me how other guys are hot and that's how she felt when I raved about [girl b]. So Saturday night comes along & she bails on me telling me her mom won't let her go out. I caught her on a lie as she went out with the guy she liked & got into a huge fight with her cause I was really hurt.

I REALLY like her & I know she's a great girl & I kind of forgiven her. A friend tells me that I should keep apologizing for going off on her & really compliment her for the next month. and if she is not official, start asking her out again & possibly prom.

Your thoughts?
