I have been in a long term relationship for over a year now with a guy I met and fell in love with online.
However, before we really connected, I asked him simply for his companionship, but he initialized our relationship.
I sought out for a kindred spirit. One I could laugh, travel and have sex with, not a commitment-- not a lifelong commitment.
Do I date many guys? No. I have been hurt enough, I was seeking someone who could benefit my life and have it make sense again. It's far different than a friends with benefits.

Him and I already, work great as a team, get lost in each other's eyes, talk, go on long drives, and have plenty of intimacy but we have had our many problems. His lack of not following through with his word, his lying, and so forth. My rambunctious, nit picking, and accusations of him cheating.

We have fun, but What are "We" , really , as a whole? Should I stick with my word and follow through with the companionship I'm seeking?

Women are engaging in much more premarital sex than they used to.

Personally I'd only be comfortable having sex with someone I REALLY trust. Does this put women like me at a disadvantage when it comes to marital prospects, because men may pass me up for women who will have sex easier/earlier?

Guys, please base this off of your own personal preference. (e. g. If you wouldn't marry a woman who wanted to wait to have sex until she really trusted/loved you, then choose option A or B, & if you prefer a woman who wanted to wait until she trusted/loved you, choose option D or E.)

by the way, before this question gets deleted for being a repeat question, I want to note to staff that this question is different from my earlier question about whether a person would commit to someone who wants to wait to have sex, because this specific question is asking in the context of societal standards, whereas the other one did not.
