Basic Features expected in Any Dating App

Dating is one of the crucial part of romantic relationships in humans whereby two people meet with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as a prospective partner in an intimate relationship or marriage.

The basics of most apps are similar a user decided about the notifications they recieve. We expect that Any Dating app should automatically import our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ friends on Dating App. The user should be notified when someone find their profile attractive. We all have different needs. Casual Sex, Dating, One Night Stand or Serious Relationship. The user should be notified based on his/her requirement.

Location

Location is the place where something or where something is occurring. An App should be able to access our location and inform us about profiles created within 25-30 metres. It will help us to reach easily. We can interact with people Anonymously near our location. Long distance relationships are possible. I agree. The point is one of the feature we all are looking in any Dating Apps.

Compatibility

The app should take some basic test which will be helpful in comparing our likes and dislikes. Most of times we add someone when we feel that we are compatible. Chances of meeting like minded people increase. Personally I have no preference for dating but Good Indian had seen many people who have Dating Preference. Few people avoid Dating specific group of people or specific religion. In fact few girls decide based on penis size and few guys decide on the basis of boob size and body shape. In nutshell we all have some preferences.

Real vs Fake Dating

The issue of the fake online dating profile continues to escalate like a hurricane, and drown all the real singles out there in online dating land. Good Indian had seen many fake profiles. In some cases bots are installed with fake profile picture. It really drive the audience away from the website. A proper mechanism should be established to identify fake profiles. The people should be able to Date on Dating Website rather than Surfing on Dating Website

Dating on Demand

A mobile app where everyone on the site agrees to be a date on demand. The service would require people to be interviewed, background checks would be held on every user, and the user would have to renew their background every month. The only thing is that you would be required to be a dater on demand. A feature that allows users to essentially order a date on-demand. Whenever we want to date we should be able to date rather than waiting for weeks or months.

When I stumbled upon this take I didn't expect much from it, but this is actually a great take!

The only thing I thought could have been brought up, is keeping the user in control. Some people don't want specific details about them being shared. Especially with it being so easy to trace a dating profile back to a specific person with first and last name (and a lot of other info leading from there). Saying dating apps are "Anonymous" is a promise most dating sites don't actually keep in practice, and thats why you need to let the user choose what information he or she wants to share.

The trouble is that dating sites have little insentive to actually work. The longer you spend on their site, the better for them. So there will be no real effort to get rid of bots or trolls and women who are looking for attention only will not be flagged.

This is why you avoid these sites at all cost.

Unless people pay for membership, you're going to run into a lot of bots. I would like the sites that require paid membership to get rid of the underhanded practice of their own bots to get you to sign up as well, though.

Everything you list the current dating apps fail at. The compatibility isn't even based on scientific metrics: OKCupid was forced to admit it's just a social experiment and not an experience.
