Some free bleeders don't just bleed everywhere and leave blood wherever they go, they usually take the necessary preparations and all that to make sure it doesn't happen, but it does mean bleeding into the clothes and over towels placed on chairs. It is definitely a very big privilege to even be able to consider it in the first place. Definitely a very first-world thing, and it is much easier when you have a lighter flow, stay at home and can afford to have spare clothes and towels and deal with the load of laundry!

I personally have no desire to bother with it, but I do want to learn more about it. Sometimes I skip over any menstrual product and simply rely on period underwear towards the end, even then I don't entirely love it because washing it is so tedious. I would totally hate free bleeding then!
