Although beauty is in the eye of the beholder, most people; especially in the same culture with the same beauty standards often have the same idea on what's beautiful. An age gap can also be considered out of the league although they're in theory equal beautiful when they were young, because young people tends to look better than old people. My Opinion:
I'm 6/10 and I prefer dating people above my league in terms of looks because I'm a very visual person. They should be at least 7/10, but I prefer above 8/10.

My friend's straight friend who mostly are into men prefer also dating someone above her league. Same as me; 7/10+. It's because of she has very high standards in men and she doesn't find many men handsome enough. She said if she ever dated a girl, she could date someone within her own league (6/10) and slightly below (5,6/10). She thinks women; even the average ones tends to be more physical attractive and beautiful than men in general speaking. A 5,6/10 woman scores higher than a 5,6/10 man.

"Back in the day" (when I was a young man, shortly after the Spanish-American War,) there was no internet, no cell phones, no texting, no FB, IG, SC, Twitter, G@G, TInder, POF, match. com, or anything else. Somehow we survived!

Anyway. . . sometimes, a friend's girlfriend would say, "I have a friend who would be PERFECT for you!" When I asked, "What does she look like?" they would respond, "She has a great personality," and that let me know to not expect a beauty queen. Sometimes, the friend's girlfriend would set up a date, sometimes it would be a double date with the friend and his girlfriend, and I would just show up and meet the lucky contestant. Sometimes, I would call the girl to arrange the date but I never met her, or saw her, in advance of the date. These were called "blind dates;" perhaps that term is still used.

Usually, there were no great surprises, because I entered such dates with virtually no expectations, though I did have one date with a girl - Candace -from Agnes Scott College who was charming and beautiful! None of the blind dates resulted in a long term relationship, but it did develop some dating skills that later became useful (I started college when I was 16 - not common in my day - and was trying to date girls who were at least 3 years older than me. Yes, that was harder than Chinese arithmetic!)

Since they have website for sugar babies (which is gold digging self center girls who only want older men for money and not for love) why can't the same be for younger guys wanting cougars for their wealth.

I'm not talking about just regular cougar dating sites, it has to be a site that has rich older women looking for you guys.
