So i'm dating this guy for 5 months, we used to be classmates for over 5 years, when we took our bachelor degree, we agreed on going to the same university, but our choice was far from home, i convinced my mum, while his dad was against it, he even said some hurtful stuff like "you're ruining your future because of her", i was hurt but didn't say anything tbh, so we're now studying in different colleges, i come back home every vacation, he never came to my place actually, i wanted to show my friends my first boyfriend, so i invited him to this event, he promised me but he didn't keep it actually and my phone was broken at that, so dumbly he sent me a text telling me not coming, then we met at night, i was upset he made me even more by saying "my dad told me that family is important than her"..
these stuffs happened two months ago, the real deal now, my birthday was last January and i wanted to be my first happy birthday since my birthdays are the worst days, well i had to came back to the university, he sent me a cute text but he didn't give me any present, i mean it's not about money, he has enough money to buy even a flower I don't know anything makes me feel special at my day, because in his birthday, i made a surprise for him and he told me that he even cried because i wanted him to feel special on his day, Valentine's day came, and also he didn't even buy me anything, even it was my first valentine while i'm in relationship, i stayed there and skipped class the next day for his sake and to spent it together, but we didn't.., now he's trying to change university, he told me he sent his papers off, but his dad still against it but he let it to send its, but after all these efforts, he told me "no depression pls" which means don't keep your hopes up for nothing sure, it depressed me, and im really having hard times with living by my own and sleep disorder, and remembering everything made me more depressed, i didn't even go to study for days.. help me guys.

I'm 18 and I go to community college full time. I have plans to move on to a 4 year institute for my undergraduate degree and this is my second semester in college.
Now, others in my class and others who know me will comment on how smart I am. I get straight as, I'm always on time for class, I never skip class, I don't disrespect authority/other people... It's just the way I am. I'm type a and goal orientated and I was raised to do the right thing etc. I do focus on my studies and spend an exuberant amount of time doing hw so I don't have much of a social life. I go to school, go to work, come home, study, sleep, eat. Etc.
i don't think highly of myself at all, in fact I have an eating disorder and I struggle with body image issues big time. I don't have a low self esteem but I definitely have body image issues and issues with dieting and restriction and binging and purging.

I don't think I'm a narcissist. However I definitely put a lot of effort into school. I sit in the front of class, actively engage the professor, and for the most part I'm used to being amongst the best in class. However I study my ass off.
