We have been out to eat but it’s only because I asked him to. He’s never told me “let’s eat together here” or invited me out for dinner. We’ve been together for 6 months and I just found it weird. He’s a very sweet guy and everytime he goes out he asks me if I need anything but he has never asked me out for dinner and he always just cooks the same thing and to make things weirder he has eaten out 3 times this week and is currently at his favorite restaurant right now. And I just find it so weird. Also last time we went out for frozen yogurt he told me that he didn’t have any money in his checking account. He’s a really sweet guy but I just wonder why? I feel a little bad. but I haven’t said anything and I don’t want him to feel obligated to or to seem pushy.

I've been talking to this guy on and off for a couple years and we have been trying to make it work but he has a high sex drive and i felt like he wanted sex this entire time.. he said he likes me a lot and has always wanted a relationship and the past is the past. I've been back and forth a lot and he still gives me a chance. I mentioned about hooking up to see if there would be any answers and he said if we were to do this he wants to start a relationship.
He said that he always wanted to show/teach me things sexually and when he found out i lost my viriginity to someone else it almost seemed like he wanted to be the one to do it and he seemed a bit put out with it. He wanted to make me happy not just in a sexual wayy but other ways.
he's been always here giving me the time of day. He told me i broke his heart and made him cry at work but still gives me a chance. As soon as i mentioned the hooking up part his mood changed/ seemed happier more sweet. In the past though he didn't treated me the greatest and he did acknolwedge it and apologized for the past. We have nothing in common but he says a relationship can still work and get to know each other more.
