Been seeing this guy as friends with benefits for 6 month at university. The arrangement was great since we both were going to finish within a year. Then he start changing his behavior and started making me believe he wanted something more. He just became more affectionate, making time to see me, sometimes spend the whole day with me and then stay the night, and say things like "I'll miss you" and "i don't want you to leave." So slowly i started believing he wanted something more. The big moment was 5 months in and one day he spent the whole evening with me and ended up staying the night. That morning i woke up to him just looking at me and very intensely looked me in the eye and said "I really like you." I wasn't sure about my feeling just yet but i said "I like you too" so i wouldn't kill the moment. After saying that he gave me a passionate kiss. A few days later, something in the back of my mind was making me think it was too good to be true since he still hadn't officially made me his girlfriend. So i asked him about what he said and his response was that he doesn't remember saying those words and in the end said he didn't like me. I was pissed of course and we didn't speak for a week but i was hoping we would go back to being friends with benefits so i messaged him and everything seemed fine.

What he does next really pisses me off. On 3 occasions, he's asked to meet up and on all 3 he's bailed with no response. He would confirm he will show up and then not show up. Just a sorry, caught up in "some excuse" hours later after having me wonder for hours. I haven't spoken to him for days but still want to understand what happen. Was he just messing with me or did i mess up? I know he won't give me a response.
