It's hard to talk to him sometimes if our fams are eating dinner together & everyone talks, but he tries to incorporate me in the convo by asking me personally a question about something. I'm not a big talker, but when I do talk, he usually always laughs at my jokes and I try to smile and laugh back with him too. I'm not sure if he likes me or not. We don't really sit next to each other much at dinners and don't hang out outside of the family.

He has hugged me really long and tight before when I made him his favorite dessert. He has also come by my side to hug me (2 times) but not a real hug, he just kinda hovers over the side of me (I'm a shortly!) and puts his arm towards the middle of my back and runs it down very little, while we're standing. (He touches near the waist/middle only, not my lower back or butt or anything). The 1st time I slithered away bc I guess I wanted to show him that I was unavailable (?) and it was a knee-jerk reaction bc I totally like him so I don't know. I guess I wanted to give him the cold shoulder a bit so he knew I didn't just want to be looked at as a friend. The 2nd time, I responded by just staying there being comfortable. I didn't clench up but I'm also not super desperate around him bc I don't know how he feels about me. Recently I kissed his cheek to greet him instead of just a plain hug and it was easier bc he was sitting down.

I've never been in a serious relationship and he knows I'm a virgin. I think he's been a player/ big flirt in the past. He usually goes for girls who are much taller with 0 curves and are kinda ditzy. I'm a short, curvy bombshell who also has a 3.9 GPA in college so far, so I'm just a little thrown off by that as well. Hope you can give me your input!

My guy friend became my school bf. We were always together, he worshipped me, held my hand, put his arm around me, big hugs, cheek kissing, staring at me with puppy eyes, noticed every detail about me, gave me lots of light touches, sat pressed against me, played footsie, played with my bracelet, fingers, hair, nibbled on my thumb, hand/spoon fed me, put his hand on my thigh and lower back, rubbed cheeks when we hugged, stared at my chest, made tons of sexual comments, winked all the time, said I'm pretty, sent me sexy snapchats, etc. This went on for months. He even said he wanted to date me and we've said we love each other a lot.

Based on months of that, I assumed he at least had a crush on me, so I stupidly wrecked our friendship by admitting that I had feelings for him. He said he had feelings for me, too, just not as romantic as mine. I don't even understand that. Either they are romantic or not.

So I said that he had to stop flirting with me. He seemed surprised by this and said he had never been flirting! I NEVER would have dared tell him how I feel if everyone on here hadn't convinced me he was totally into me and he was waiting for me to make a move. Turns out not.

If I cared I would list for him everything he said and did that made me think this, but I think he's a liar and was totally flirting and maybe didn't expect it to go this far. I can't understand how he could think he wasn't leading me on. He just makes me sick now.

I lifeguard over the summer, and I've met some real chill people from ages 15 to 22. This one guy that I became attracted to is 19 and I am 16. Any way I know he is attracted to me because he always making comments about my butt and always trying to talk to me and he always forgetting and asking me what is my age or forgetting what grade I am. Any the whole summer we've been flirting but he made it clear that he don't like dating younger girls and by the way in my state the age of consent is 16 i'm turning 17 in 3 months. by the way we've hanged out a couple of times but never alone... we smoked at his house with one of my friends and afterwards he invited us inside but my friend kept bothering me because she has to go... like wtf. Also at my job he compliments me on the way i dress and one time I wore this crop top with a lace back with no bra and i can feel his eyes zoomed on my nipples but i didn't wear that crop top for him, I just like to go no bra and i'm not a slut or anything. I only had 2 boyfriends in my whole life time and I feel like I am way to mature for high school boys. Like everyone at my job was shocked when they realized i was 16 they all thought i was like 18. by the way i feel sex should be after marriage. But do you think I have a chance next year. I really like him, he is like the most honest/chill guys i ever met. Also we still talk but not like friends or close friends. we just text every now and then because he once to be a weed dealer (PLEASE DONT JUDGE THAT) but he is really a nice guy and he wants me to spread his number around! (PLEASE LOOK PASS ALL THAT BS) But he is not a bad dude because there has been times where he has had my back at work where he could of gotten in big trouble but do you really think I have a shot?

I think guys are quick to jump to conclusions because they have big egos especially teenage boys and will assume a girl likes him. Girls tend to doubt themselves more. But a lot of guys are also pretty oblivious when it comes to a girl flirting with them. On the other hand, girls obsess over every little detail like "omg he looked at me. He asked to borrow my pencil! He sat next to me! He likes me!" So...
