Search Results: says he''ll call but never does

So I have this guy friend, we'll call him A, he always talks to me out of random or he just stands next to me and doesn't say anything at all. He's that person in your class that is happy go lucky and just talks to everybody. I've had a majority of my classes with him since freshman year and we've never gotten to be close friends but not strangers but more than aquaintances if that makes sense. But we're close enough to randomly talk to each other if we happen to see each other.
Well this semester, A and I both have art together with my best friend, let's call her B. A sits all the way in the front of the class and i sit in the back with B. A randomly goes to the back of the class to just walk by and not get anything at all or try to ask me something and then he'd claim he forgot. When we have to wait outside our class because our teacher is late he would just stand next to me and say hi and smile. And thats it. He wouldn't say a word afterwards until he holds open the door and says you're welcome. I didn't really see anything wrong with this.
But B thinks that he likes me and is always around but not quite close because he likes me. So i immediatly said, "What the hell?" But now I started to notice the little things that he does and Im starting to see what B sees. But im not entirely sure if its just her getting in my head. Like i dont want to believe it because he's that guy who talks to everybody. And i just dont want to act differently around this guy becasue of some random theory my best friend made.
So whats your guys' opinion on this? Does he like me?
