Search Results: nervous at a first date

So I went on my first date since my ex and ontop of that there's a pandemic going on. The guy and I had a few disagreements before we met up but we worked it out. I am and was really excited and nervous, we did meet briefly a couple times before but it wasn't proper it was literally 5 minutes each time before we officially met face to face. Things did get carried away and overall i was just worried about that and nothing else.

During the date while we were doing things in the car, we were in an area where a lot of people could see and he was doing certain things that could be more in private and felt shy/nervous when those things were happening. i was enjoying it but also not in the moment and I don't know if it was just anxiety/nerves. Usually when im driving home from a date im usually confused and/or crying and with this one i wasn't confused or crying just worried about that one thing which we talked about. he's a good guy and we have a lot of similarities and he's the kind of guy I've been looking for.

by the way he did tell me if anything i think he did is uncomfortable to let him know and i was a little vocal about it but not too vocal about it.

Matched on tinder a little over a month ago and we went on a date. Went well but it’s been a little over a week since the date (technically he asked me a little over 2 weeks ago, at the beginning of the week and we went out at the end of the week) and he hasn’t made plans for the next one. Is he into me/should I try asking him?

Pros:
-has texted me good morning almost every morning from the jump (he’s still consistent in that)
-checks in throughout the day to let me know what they’re up to
-asks me about my day/how I’m doing
-planned a good first date
-speaking of first date, would look at me during awkward pauses in conversation and laugh/smile, maybe he was nervous or into me?
-told me immediately after the date that they had a good time and want to see me again soon

Cons
-busy grad student
-I feel like I carry a lot of our text convos, asking the deeper getting to know you conversations
-texts feel a bit drier
-hasn’t mentioned date 2 yet

I’m nervous because I don’t want to get hurt. I just want to be sure of how he’s feeling and in my mind, him not asking for date 2 yet isn’t a good sign. I also dropped hints that I’m free this coming weekend but nothing. Also, what are your thoughts on this?
